• Go to your network account from a device that has connection,
• Change the name and password of the network.
• Restart PC and connect again

Man that checking the list of available drivers is something that never occurred to me even though I knew it was a driver issue and tried the auto check. You're a legend and deserve some interaction for the algorithm lol

Help! I have a similar issue!

My laptop says it cannot connect to my Hotspot.

Other devices ARE able to connect to my Hotspot, and my laptop IS able to connect to someone else's Hotspot. However my laptop specifically doesn't want to connect to mine. And I haven't connected it previously.

My laptop will connect to wifi for a like a half hour, then it will disconnect and I have to restart my laptop multiple times before it will connect again. My phone, desktop, and Ipad work fine on the same Wifi with NO problems. Any ideas ?

Even though others had same thing advice on device manager and uninstalling the device, none mentioned the fact to update driver immediately afterwards and I guess that started the wifi adapter immediately. Thank you I will try this at home. I have used bluetooth to watch nba baskeltball and paired to my tv.. When I checked the list of network someone has my device name on the network list. i turn off bluetooth and change my new device name. But when I checked it again it has my new device name. I changed it again and used my device name again. i unplug my wifi. How do I know if he hacked my pc and my phone. How do you connect to a hidden network on laptop. For me for whatever reason I decided I was too scared to do it your way with deleting the software for my Wi-Fi.
Mine gave the option, Scan for Hardware Changes. I clicked on that, and you wouldn't believe it! Immediately, the Wi-Fi signal showed up! 😂
