Is that Sale Golf Club?
ОтветитьThis package set is very similar to the 2018 package set that I purchased brand new at the beginning of 2020. The only difference is that the 2018 package set has a 5 iron and a 3 wood instead of the 5 hybrid and 5 wood . Also, the 2018 package set includes a 4 hybrid that looks very similar to the 5 hybrid shown in this video. Driver and irons have slightly different paint design, but that's just cosmetic. I recommend buying the 2018 package if it's still available because it's now a probably $100 or $200 less!
ОтветитьNice little set!
ОтветитьI just bought this set after looking around a few shops to hit up some boxing day specials, came in for just under $900 AUD which would be around the £500-600 I'd say? Very chuffed with how they felt with a few practice hits, very keen to hit the course. Glad I came across this video!
Ответить$699usd
ОтветитьLove a good package set review and those clubs look very familiar in the styling of my TaylorMade tour burners (upgrade required Father Christmas 🎅)
ОтветитьWow, I was way off. My first line set of clubs didn’t cost $1000, including the bag.
Ответить£399!
Ответитьgot a package similar to this about 2 years ago. looking at the price they are much cheaper in Australia, about $900 (500 pound). agree with the putter and will replace soon and have upgraded the driver to the Cleveland XL lite. but can see the irons hanging around for a while.
Ответитьdo a handfull of holes with both your normal clubs and the clevland and see what the score difference is
ОтветитьGood shit Matt. Love the channel
ОтветитьI'll be the only donkey to actually comment a guess on cost, 499$
Ответить£350
ОтветитьI really like the looks of this set
ОтветитьThey are so good for the price
ОтветитьLove my Cleveland wedges👌
ОтветитьGreat video for people who are looking at taking up golf and want a set of clubs, everything you need to get started, great video keep um coming
ОтветитьHey Matt .
Biggest selling point of these clubs is the smile they put on your face after some of the shots you hit . When stating out you need to enjoy the game and these clubs obviously help with that as well as make the game that bit easier .
I don't have this exact set but use and have used Cleveland Irons and Driver for years and they just make solid, forgiving, high quality no frills clubs. Can't recommend the brand enough. Funny enough I don't care for Cleveland wedges. Too heavy
Ответить$500 usd is reasonable. Merry Christmas to everyone. ☃️
Ответить£449 my guess
ОтветитьTee holder on the bag? Isn't that what pockets are for?
Let's see a 9 hole match against Peter Finch where you both use those clubs.
I play the CG16 Black Pearl irons in 4-PW and three CG16 Wedges in satin. Fantastic quality irons, I love Clevaland as a (very underrated) brand.
ОтветитьGood set but Caley currently offering a full 14 club set and bag for £499 in their Winter sale. That's less than 35 quid a stick. I'm a fairly new golfer looking for an upgrade from my hand-me-down first set. I have bitten..
ОтветитьWell done matt give rick shields a match with em ha 👏 👍 😀
Ответитьare we lookin at Matt's new bag of clubs here?
ОтветитьPersonally, as someone who works in a fitting centre, the best value package set available is the PowerBilt VC16 set. The shafts from diver down to sand wedge come raw or "uncut" meaning we can fit the player for the right length shaft and in a reg or stiff option. On top of that the driver comes with an adjustable head for as good as fitting can possibly be for a package set. The downsides though are that it doesn't come with a putter and I'm not sure if its available outside of Australia.
Ответить300 ?. Totally wrong for me Wouldn’t pay that much as a beginner. Albeit they played extremely well.
ОтветитьYou and Andy should pick a package set and have a match
ОтветитьNot exactly a package set. But would love to see you do a Maltby set for comparison. For grins I threw together a quick set. KE4 Max Irons (4-GW, TT Score LT shafts). KE4 Tour TC Driver, 4 wood, and 3 Hybrid with MPF Pro Shafts. 56* TSW wedge with a TT LT Score shaft. And a Moment XI Tour putter. Comes to just under $800.
Not bad at all considering many of the above are their flagship models. But could get the price down quite a bit if you went with their even more budget friendly options. And/or reduce the number of irons in the set. Could easily knock $100-$200 off the price.
I tested a Maltby TS1 7 iron this year and was super impressed. Every bit as good, if not better, than big name players distance irons. And not only could folks get into Maltby for even less. But they have a ton of options for customization. Everything from shafts to L/L/L.
looks like a great set...considering buying a packaged set for my 16 year old son who is 6'2"!
Ответить899!!!! Sorry, shop second hand for me. Loved the video though, keep it up Matt.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this I have had this set for my start of my golf journey. I have gone from 120 a round to now low 80s in about a yr. You have put to rest the doubt I have in them thinking I should of got a better set. Cheers
ОтветитьI use the heck out of the tee holder on the outside of my bag...
ОтветитьAs a lot of other people are saying the lads should have a package set match. The thing I would add is do a Top Gear-esque point system for categories like price, fir, gir, shots off par, etc.
Ответить$299.00
ОтветитьNice set but probably too expensive imo if you can buy a comparable TM/cobra set for the same money. Personally I like Cleveland as they offer good quality at a lower price than than the other premium mainstream brands
ОтветитьYour skills in front of the camera are so good these days, brilliant work 👏
ОтветитьPer-form-ance...
Apart from that it was a great video! Haha.
All of the advice about clubs being for beginners, mid-handicappers or low-handicappers is absolute nonsense just designed to sell more clubs.
Amateurs and clubs pros alike have been conned into believing that there is so much space-age technology in golf clubs that warrants their expense. The truth is there isn’t. They’ve also been conned by arbitrary terms like ‘7 iron’ which are meaningless. It’s still basically a lump of metal on the end of a stick. That’s it. A golf club is merely a tool and each one is individual. Learn to use each one and you’ll be a good player.
That drive on the 1st hole was 275 at most. You’re about 50 yards away and you said it was playing 320.
ОтветитьI am a tee holder loyal. How dare you suggest binning them.
Ответить£400
Ответить$699???
ОтветитьPlay against carter with that set💪💪
ОтветитьFWIW...almost any machine shop could put a knurl on the face of that putter for way less than the cost of a new putter.
ОтветитьI agree with you Matt, this is a good core to your set. My dad has a Huntington Soft putter and that is definitely the first replacement. Then driver and add wedges as you said... But the meat of the set, fairway woods, hybrids and irons are all solid enough for every single weekend golfer in the world. Sure a fitting is nice, but not everyone is going to play that seriously... for those who don't this is 100% a serious option to consider.
ОтветитьI'm a Cleveland fan through and through, very underrated in my opinion. Currently playing cg7 black pearl irons as well as cleveland wedges and a Huntington beach putter. Love them
ОтветитьWould have been thrilled to have a set like this when I started out. ⛳️
ОтветитьAs a high handicapper who's trying to get into golf a bit more seriously and playing more, I went for the callaway edge set. Didn't see anything in this set that made me regret that decision, better putter in the edge set and even after buying a bag still much better value. Would you agree?
