You couldn't just shoot him from below?

BG3 has that pokemon logic where something with 70% chance to hit just will never do it, but you bet that something with 10% chance will.

use jump it takes a bonus action

They really fu*ked up a perfect game by making it into a turn-based cringe. This game would have been 3x better and way more popular if they made it normal real-time action combat... Also, a proper 3rd person view...

This game is a gigantic piece of overrated sh!t. And stuff like that are absolutely FRUSTRATING.
XCOM didn't piss me off like this game did. It's just RIDICULOUS! I already deleted this damn garbage from my PC and I don't regret it.

is there a way to set the game to constant isometric viewpoint like the old bg, without all the fancy shmancy camera moving around, zooming in and out and making players seasick? If there's no way to disable this 3d awfulness I'll never be able to play this game

What's the difference between miss and CRIT miss?

You should click on enemy and check it's characteristics armor level etc if armor is more then your damage you will always miss

I have had 80% chance hit in this game that has missed so badly...problem is my character was literally standing next to the target!

Well, you did have 65% to hit, so I'm not surprised that it missed. Anything below 90% is basically a coin toss LMFAO.

enemy at 1 hp-> critical hit
sums up rng game experience, that's why I never take critical build

This is the kind of energy games with chance-based combat give off. You could lose your glass cannon Elven Marksman, who has a constant 70% chance to hit with his 3 hits per attack no matter the situation to a level 0 goblin who wields nothing but a sharpened stick. Wesnoth, I will never forget you...
