ОтветитьThis song is really punk rooted!
ОтветитьTHE KNEE DROP!!! BRUTAL
ОтветитьThis is still (2024) a song in my rotation. That's amazing enough. But, I digress. This brings us some real inner emotions. The outlier shoe Fridays trying to give NBC some non-conformist comedy competition is cool. Having Jack Burns (Warren on Andy Griffith) host and introduce Devo hits another cool weird note. Then there's this song. Erudite and funny, and timeless Uncontrollable Urge still rocks just as relevantly hard 45-years on. What a band. Pretty dang popular, but vastly still underrated as they are in the top 20 of all-time greats for sure.
ОтветитьThis crazy woman singing reminds me of my Mum she had the same hair. She was short with the biggest lung's. She used to do this style of country singing. When I watch the intro. I just see and hear my Mum. ❤ I would be so embarrassed as a kid I wish she would shut the fu'k up making a cu"t of yourself in public 😂 As a 20 year old Play the guitar Paul fu'k off I'm going to the club... See I told ya he was a Prick 🤔 😂 Love ya Ma❤
ОтветитьHow were these guys not in MIB movie visiting aliens on big screen scenes in secret base ? They put Michael Jackson n shock jock stern on there. 🤨These guys can be on there as well. ! Their musical karate is still to strange n next level for most humans.

ОтветитьNo band since has had the intelligence and style to get anywhere near to pulling anything like this off again.

ОтветитьHer song would be good for DOVE the band of LOVE.
ОтветитьI've been to Slayer shows and the craziest pit I ever experienced was at a Devo concert.
ОтветитьSuperb performance! We used to skate my half pipe to Devo.
ОтветитьWell, a bit old-fashionned now (sort of 60s gimmik with punk revisited style)
Just keep in mind 'I can't get me no (satisfaction)' : a (good) joke more than a tribute
I saw them live at Cleveland State University in the Shire. Great band then and now.
ОтветитьThey were doing really well…. With the insane sonic guitar sounds ….then…. the drummer quit. I think they dropped the ball on that loss. His nickname was ‘the metronome’. An incredible talent that gave the group a pulse.
ОтветитьSimplemente geniales
ОтветитьGod, I have always loved these guys. The music stands the test of time--still amazing. I always hated that they were mostly known for Whip It. One of my least favorite songs of theirs.
Ответить"You're so 80s"
Devo: Performs a song from the 70s.
It's 'Misty Mountain Hop' from Led Zeppelin... But it's so fast!
