I am not sure about the Let It Be being pulled. I do know that during the VHS Machine sales of 1981 before the 1983-84 boom, that a free movie, One was The Muppet Movie, another was Let It Be, and I don't remember what the last one. Came with every purchase of the very expensive VCR. It was released in 1981 by Mag. Beatles somewhat broke up in 1969. I am a huge Beatles fan, and huge VHS Fan, I remember the promo. Being AMAZED that you could own a movie, and thought one day I will have my own library of maybe 5-6 movies. I started working in a mom and pop video store in 1984. But before VHS I owned RCA Selectavision Videodisc cause it was stereo, and had to watch Star Wars in stereo. A year later VHS became stereo. I love your VHS collection and as soon as I saw your special section I knew you were legit. I sold most of my VHS, but still have every format that came out VHS, CED, LASER, BLURAY, and some FILM, and 4K. The store I worked at started with 67 titles, and by the time I had left they were just coming up on 2,000. I remember every box cover, especially your special section with Jaws is a freaking classic. I remember the first VHS tape to have Macrovision. I worked one semester at a duplicating plant where we had the special job of making E.T. ready. And was on TV loading a skid during a news segmant for the release of the film. MCA came an installed special securiy cameras to be sure nothing would leak early. It had the green spools and we had new Hologram stickers of the Universal Logo that needed to be applied. This is the best collection I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing. Love it. - Toronto, Canada.

PS: I am freaking out buddy, what a walk down memory lane. You know my dating profile was "Likes long romantic walks in Video Store." If you every get a chance to have a museum or give tours, I will be there. Depending on how things go, I may get a season pass.

PPS: Oh man I was waiting for the NOTCH box of Star Wars where it would say VHS or BETA. I did not own that version. Byt I sold 90% of my VHS dukns slowly as I was purchasing Laser, but when DVD came out, even with it's compresses image quality that cause a lot of gradient on images that should be smooth, I knew it was game over for everything else, and speed up selling my VHS. I wished I kept Star Wars and a lot of my others. I still have a lot of the Video Store Demos they would give, especially from Paramount who had magazines basically on VHS almost every month. Warner did something similar. But by the time Jagged Edge, Return of the Jedi and Back To The Future were being released. Store screeners were replaced with actually showing and big events. I miss those days. Even the once a year big events they would have where you can get tones of SWAG from upcoming titles. I still have all our order magazines. And some of those events were so fun. You could get superimposed in the drivers seats beside Bruce Willis for Die Hard 3 trailer, or laying down on a blue box with a blue screen had you hanging from the ceiling like Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible. Your collection is bringing back a flood of memories. I hope to see more of your collection. I will take a look since I'm late to the game for this video. Sorry for the long comment.

What company made quality VHS players? do the 80s or 90s last longer then others?

When I was a kid, it was so much fun to go to a rental store on Friday, and rent movies and video games. The weekend was always fun while playing games and watching movies. Those great times will never be again.

I see the rarities of some of these he has. I'm still not seeing "rare or hard to find movies" that are not available on dvd or streaming. Just mostly popular titles in different variations.

Who has time to collect VHS movies. There are no good movies on VHS. I’d much rather collect DVDs of the greatest movies ever made. It’s easy to store DVDs in a shelf. When you collect VHS you have bulky tapes taking up tons of space. Not to mention you gotta rewind and fast forward tapes all the time. Why collect VHS when DVD is 10x better.

I think and say the same about vinyls but tapes is like cmon get a dvd or Blu ray !

I have two of the first star wars sealed. And also two of the empire strikes back sealed. Wonderful luck to have them sealed

What in the hell is this guy talking about?!! Is he saying that, "Let It Be", came out on video in 1970?! Why doesn't he show the years or tell what they are for the earliest ones released?! Because he's lying. How are those holy grails? There must be loads of more interesting films that were amongst the first? How about other, "music home videos", that came out in the late 1970's?!

Do all your vhs tapes still work fine? I've read online that they eventually become unplayable due to time?

I remember when Dvds came out we literally threw hundreds of VHS tapes in our company Skip for crushing.They were deemed pointless at the time! Wonderful collection here.
