Was he not to heavy for a balloon like that to be able to lift him? I know about the episode of Myth Busters, but did anyone else besides them, ever do a test to see if it's even possible for that type of balloon to carry something that weighs as much as a six year old boy? I think the dad is just happy to be on TV again. And ABC is playing right into that because they don't give a you know what. I think ABC is trying to get them to do a project without people thinking that's what they're doing.
