I have the samsonite and yes it’s 23” when you include the wheels in the overall dimensions. I was not able to bring this onto Iceland Air as a carry on- it’s definitely too big for their size limits and they made me check it. It’s a really nice suitcase though

If you're so concerned with the max size, you would get a bag with inline wheels and not spinners

great video, however this is for US domestic airlines... international low-cost carriers demand smaller bags. None of these bags will pass their test so they can charge you 50 euros at the airport...

How is it possible to fit the 23 inch bags? If they specify 22 inches as their maximum? I have a bag that is 22 1/2 inches and I am afraid to even try. I will be flying on allegiant.

You didn't touch on the one with single wheels. When fully packed there is stress on wheels and I find single wheels start to drag more. Since most of us use a slip flight bag of sorts, I wish they'd eliminate pockets and give more packing space.

Those rickety “spinner” wheels just beg to be snapped off. Not that much difference in handling, I’m good with pulling my bag behind me, a Tumi with thick rubber wheels built in, nothing sticks out. Doesn’t slow me down. I saw several people lose their little wheels on my last trip. Then there they were, thousands of miles from home, lugging their suitcase just like old times.

it's very unfair..........the luggage is small.........the price need to go down a little.........they sell this luggage in store for $300 dollar something

The 22" / 23" inch thing is so confusing. I don't want to spend a lot of money only to find out we have to check them anyway. Good to know that 23" will work even in the strictest United Airlines test! But I have heard Europe is stricter than here.

I have a Travel Pro ( Not sure what model) and the front compartments are organized just like my laptop computer backpack with a thin padded slot for a computer and organizers for small items like notebooks and even pens! It's really great to have that duel function available!

I heard the taper is it balances the bag so it doesn’t tip. I’m not an engineer so maybe I’m just gullible 🤣

I'm at the airport and the lady infront of me at Starbucks, had a carryon that I could not see the brand, but I dont think is one that you reviewed and I will be looking for it in the stores-....lol!
I was noticing the wheels are kind of on the side of the bag and so it allows for the bottom to be lower!
Its hard to explain but while Im sure it still the 22-23 "legal" inches, with the wheels not taking up all the space at the bottom of the bag.., now the actual bag can be bigger and have more space for stuff!!

Tie two colored ribbons around the handle to your luggage to warn others that this is not their luggage. People grab luggage at the turnstile and take it home before you ever see it.

Travelpro max lite 4 can you use it on all Delta aircraft and fit in there over head bin and JetBlue aircraft fit in there over head bin.

I don’t like any luggage that the cross strap inside and I don’t like soft side luggage. Most companies make luggage with that horrible strap so I’m limited in what I can purchase

Just so people aren't surprised when they travel within Europe, the allowable carry-on is much smaller (check out the 19" bags or under-seat options), so while you can get there on American they will make you check your bag once you begin within Europe. Easy jet and Ryan Air have very strict carry-on rules.

Newbie here watching from PHILIPPINES

What are the materials used, waterproof and weight?

These are all great but I flew from Albany International to Newark on a very small United Airlines plane, 1 seat - the aisle - 2 seats and my travel mate had to stow his small suitcase because it had wheels. Every person who had a carryon with wheels was required to stow the bag. These are all great bags but would not be acceptable on all planes.
