Oh wow you use a mushrooming tip. Oldschool.
Ответитьwarrssnookerchannel has challenged you! Need to see this!
ОтветитьFor me, the relaxed arm bit is the most important. We always say: Let the cue do the work.
At the time of impact, you want it to feel as though your cue impacts the white without your right hand (as a right-hander, let's say grip-hand) interfering in any way with the impact. It's almost like loosening your grip to the extent that the cue just does not fall to the table, but not any more. I once heard that your grip-hand should feel like you are holding a little bird - don't squeeze it in any way, just very delicately wrap your hand around the tail of your cue to enable acceleration but keep it very flexible and loose. This makes the impact much more effective.
On impact, the cue will be deflected (because it can, thanks to the light grip) and does indeed "hold on to the white".

ОтветитьThank you, greetings from Brazil
ОтветитьI had a big BreakFromLifeThrough today.
Up until very recently, I potted about the same with my chin nowhere near the cue (or in fact just standing up straight).
I noticed it was different a week or two ago when I got RIGHT down with the cue as low as possible. Big difference!
I do find that difficulty of doing screw back shots does depend on what table you’re playing on.
On fast tables, It can be easy. On slow tables, It can be hard. Every table is always different.
You had me worried for your cloth watching this one!
