Anyone tell trudopes how and why oilsands came to be with oil oozing out of ground and killing off the environment worse then tailing ponds 😮
ОтветитьIm glad Daniel Smith is doing what is right.
The federal government has too much over reach
Nothing the federal government is doing is based in any science as per there climate change policies
I don’t know who sets up the cameras for these interviews, but I have noticed, on almost all of the channels interviews, the camera is focused on the background behind Smith. I don’t know if this is intentional, but she almost always is slightly out of focus, but the background is in focus.
ОтветитьGood to have her here in Alberta!

Kiss Your Emissions Cap Dubai
In this week’s cover story, Graham Thomson unpacks what Danielle Smith was really doing in Dubai, and it wasn’t selling the Alberta “story” of carbon capture to global oil and gas stakeholders.
“She is using COP28 as a bully pulpit to show the anti-COP folks back home she’ll fight Ottawa on any stage, be it provincial, national or international.” writes Thomson.
Joining Smith on her desert excursion were “more than 100 Alberta delegates” (as reported by the Calgary Herald). According to a tally by Andrew Leach only 43 of those names have any association with government. Airfare costs? Over $18,000 each, says Thomas Lukaszuk.

It’s all worth it though to be recognized with the ignoble “Fossil of the Day” award from environmental advocates. The distinction is usually handed out to national governments, but Alberta’s sudden temporary ban on renewable projects could not be overlooked by the awards committee. Stiff competition, too, given COP28 featured such progressive climate action as a talk on ‘responsible yachting’.
The biggest Canadian news during the conference was Federal Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault announcing the details of Canada’s oil-and-gas emissions cap. You can read more on those plans right here, but just know that despite the only surprising part of this law being its “more modest than expected” emissions targets, the UCP still absolutely hate it.
David Climenhaga has a breakdown of the premier’s ‘belligerent’ response, in which Smith vows to develop a ‘constitutional shield’ to defend Alberta from Ottawa’s attacks on freedom. Hang on, he says, wasn’t the Sovereignty Act already supposed to be a constitutional shield?
“What will this new Sovereignty 2.0 Act be, then? The Alberta Sovereignty Within a Somewhat Less United Canada Act? Or are we going to skip straight to a unilateral declaration of independence?”
Smith actually seems more outraged than the oil companies. Kendal Dilling, president of the oil and gas industry Voltron that is the Pathways Alliance, tells the National Observer he’s “a bit mystified” by the premier’s furious response.
She is so whiney it is time that the feds turns off the money and watch her cry a river.
ОтветитьI as an Alberta and 100% with a Alberta pension plan but I would like more information on the true number coming from CPP and then compare benefits between CPP and Alberta pension plan
ОтветитьJust Curious. As far as the CPP goes. Does Chystia Freeland really give the money from the CPP to the World Economic Forum. She is on their board and there are rumors.
ОтветитьTechnologie exploitation grass tree safety zone cellulose company testing uses
ОтветитьWhy does the rest of the world have till 2050 to be net 0 and Alberta have to be net 0 by 2035 ? Is this an attack on Alberta ? What’s the reason for this ?
Ответитьgo girl go !!!
ОтветитьBorn, raised, lived in Alberta most of my life. Family homesteaded BEFORE "Alberta" existed. Grandmother was secretary treasurer for local Social Credit party chapter. Alberta top to bottom. Danielle SMITH was NOT elected by voters in the province or even in the party. She is only in power because of rule changes that accumulated party leadership votes to her for the LAST BALLOT BECAUSE SHE WAS virtually NO ONE'S FIRST CHOICE. WhoTF does she think she is. HANDS OFF the CPP - UCP/Conservative party decimated the Heritage fund with it's poor management. How the HE"double-hockey-sticks" is this government going to claim it can manage the CPP any more effectively when they are far and away more extreme and less competent under Smith's leadership. Stupid - narcissistic arrogance. STOP THIS INSANITY.
ОтветитьI wish we have premiere like her in BC.I love her.
ОтветитьIf you achieved zero Carbon tomorrow, it would not make a difference. The Marxist Lennon's would find something new to tax. Thus the taxes won't end until the Marxist Left ends.
ОтветитьAlberta public sector pension plan managers are reassuring workers and retirees their savings are secure after reports a provincial pension manager has lost billions in risky investments.
A reported $4-billion loss by the Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) has also reinvigorated calls for the Alberta government to stop forcing public sector pension plans to use AIMCo as an investment manager.
Mr. Moe. Can you take notes from her. She’s getting things done over there
ОтветитьI hope you run for PM , honorable D. Smith .
ОтветитьDanielle, if you want Albertans to have more money in their pockets how about we stop sending our hard earned money in to all the other provinces. How about bringing a halt to the Equalization payments that Alberta has been force to give and let us keep our money for a change. How about us keeping our money and letting us invest how WE chose, spend how we chose, and stop being the purse to all of Canada. We are suffering now but those provinces don’t give a rip and still put out their filthy little hands to take our money. If you want to improve Albertans lives STOP THE EQUALIZATION PAYMENTS!!!
Ответитьwhile Canadians are asked to go net zero, China and India build coal fired generation plants. all our efforts and expense are useless in light of others polluting
ОтветитьIn All Honesty, Danielle Smiths Court Challenge is a Win/ Win for the Governments- More so than for the People.
A few jobs and BUNCH OF TAX MONEY and PROFITS, for ALBERA OIL, is what this is really about - with Disastrous Effects to the WATER at the Very Least. It will be Felt HARD for MANY GENERATIONS!
Hard to believe that a Bottle of Water is the Same Cost (or More) as Gasoline...
and Having to Buy water will be the Governments' Next Priority.
"More than 2 billion people lack safe drinking water. That number will only grow.
"By 2050, half the world's population may no longer have safe water to drink or grow food"
Canada has 7% of the world's renewable fresh water. It is easy for Canadians to assume that they have an almost endless supply of clean, fresh water.
Our Natural Resources and BASIC NECESSITIES are Controlled by the Government$ and Corporation$ for Profit$; that is the Bottom Line; and that is what is Unacceptable to me.
I'm Not Advocating for Alternatives; but this is probably the Worst of ALL Alternatives.
Nor, will it Reduce the Cost of Fuel.
You want to leave something for your kids and Grandkids, and You have done just that... for MANY GENERATIONS TO COME!
The Cost of Living Keeps TRICKLING DOWN - Way to Go Alberta Oil!
Tar Sands, the Dirtiest Fuel in the World
Great questions!
ОтветитьYes referendum. Yes to APP
ОтветитьThank you Danielle!
ОтветитьALL Premiers should be like Danielle!
The NERVE of that little nutbar Guilbeault to say that the Supreme Court ruling is “only the judges’ opinions” and that the federal government is going to go ahead and do what they want anyway.
We stand with our premier !!
ОтветитьLive in Ontario….so jealous of Alberta’s amazing Premier.❤️💪
ОтветитьIS GUILBEAULT A HAMAS INFILTRATE, SITTING IN THE SABOTAGE BUSHES, SINCE 1988?
ОтветитьThe liberals are lawless..
They will pay dearly.
When will Albertans wake up and realize that Miz Smith is about the worst choice they could have made?!
ОтветитьShe better not screw up that pension plan…..she has to remember that money belongs to employers and employees not for the government general revenue! Remember what was done with the Heritage trust Fund?
ОтветитьQuit speaking about NET ZERO::
ОтветитьStop SOGI 123 please Daniel
ОтветитьThx 🙏, sounds good 👍🏽. Let’s do er’.
ОтветитьThe worst premier in Alberta history.
ОтветитьThe western countries are under attack. Our societies are systematically being undone from the inside. They give the people flowery words that mean the opposite of what they say and all under the guise of then helping us. People are waking up real quick, more and more each day.
ОтветитьShe just makes every other politician seem like a child. So smooth, so intelligent. The only exception is Pierre P. Save us from the Trudeau clown show, please.
ОтветитьI love that women, she is great. I would like to go to Alberta but my wife is affraid and also just speak french.
ОтветитьIt's always good when people you vote for actually do what they're supposed to do. Trudeau doesn't like it when people tell him he's wrong. Federal government should stay in their own lane...
ОтветитьI say yes to APP. The only ones opposing it are people with government or unions who have taxpayer funded pensions. Albertans work hard. We all deserve a better pension instead of funding an ungrateful Canada
ОтветитьYes!
ОтветитьGreat interview, Hal.
ОтветитьDanielle is the best thank God we have her fighting for the West
ОтветитьLegend!
ОтветитьSmith sounds like a cartoon character
ОтветитьThe feds are trying to move land to “unesco sites” as well as move our “land back” to indigenous if they deem an environmental emergency…it was rolled out in BC with David Eby in January at the BC Natural Resources Forum. This puts feds in control and they are buying compliance and alliance with our tax payers $$ with very few benefiting from these corruption payments. We are under attack people by our own. :(
Tactics to divide us all and make us fear one another. Just gross :(
UNPLUG THE CAR CHARGERS Too many people charging electric cars. They pull more power out of the wall then AC units.
ОтветитьTo bad BC wouldnt work with Danielle Smith and Brad Wall. Along with Pierre we could save our country?
Ответить
