I support steve job ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьSmall brains think Steve is wrong here. Big brains understand to ignore what small brains think
Ответить"You were less than ninety days from being insolvent. I had three different accountants try to explain it to me. The whole place has to be streamlined."
"Start with two of the accountants."
he was so toxic he caused cancer to happen
ОтветитьI'd rather be an asshole and create.
ОтветитьIts a rare treat to see scenes like these with such great dialogue. The tension is built so well and the dialogue so quick and intense.
ОтветитьYou ever see someone fall short of the potential they have? Like knowingly and deliberately be a bad person when you thought they were different like
ugh
My friend coming out to me as non binary and using it/it’s pronouns
ОтветитьWhy does jobs look so much like tim cook lol
ОтветитьMan rogan CRUSHED it
ОтветитьSuch a shitty movie…
Ответить7 years ago? Didn't this come out 4 years ago?
ОтветитьToday some BS VR that cost a shit ton only to the rich.
ОтветитьHe suffered from his cancer.
Ответитьsteve jobs with lower case letters didn't make shit! In his death bed he realized he was an asshole and died an asshole.
ОтветитьFassbender's last line hits really hard. first she says "He's a temperamental guy." and Jobs goes...."No, he's not."
wow....like....Jobs knew that Wozniak was right, but this feud was old and Steve couldn't lose the feud now....in front of all these employees. Brilliant little moment of Jobs showing his hand.
The newton out here catching srray bullets 😂 i thought its about the apple 2
ОтветитьSteve was exactly like Bill Gates. Neither of them really did anything besides be the face of a company. They owe their success to the talented individuals who made their companies worth billions of dollars.
ОтветитьJobs was a king size douche.
ОтветитьIt’s not binary…. It’s gravity murph
Ответить"john didn't trick somebody"
Sure, but Jobs built an entire career out of conning and tricking people into giving him what he wanted.
This movie is really good.
ОтветитьThe cinematography in this scene is excellent. The way Fassbender is shown taking up half the frame, eyes forward, the background slightly blurred and darkened against him literally stealing the spotlight while Rogen is always in the darker part of the room, never being illuminated more than needed to make out his posture, because he worked behind the scenes, OUTSIDE the spotlight.
ОтветитьI like this scene a lot, and it is a great filmed and acted scene. But Jobs knew the Woz was his golden goose. The Woz made apple. And steve made Apple huge. And I do not think that Steve would ever have this kind of a blow out with Woz. And he didnt want Woz to leave- he offered so many times to make Woz wildly rich, bring him up into executive position. Make more money than GOD. Woz didnt want to. Hes a true engineer. Probably a terrible husband, but a great engineer.
Good scene, even if it never happened.
"You can be decent and gifted at the same time." - Absolutely. Abusive, toxic leaders who win often believe that they win because they are harsh, because they keep people down, because they ofter so little "sugar" to those around them. But the reality is that they win DESPITE that they are jerks, not because of it. I know because, a long long time ago, I used to be one of those people. Good management, good leaders learn that positive reinforcement is vital to high performing employees. They learn to give feedback in a way that is both straightforward and fair, while being sensitive to other's feelings. Its not binary.....
ОтветитьIt’s not binary it’s bisexual
ОтветитьHaha he died.
ОтветитьPoor soab...a genius that ended in a hole like anybody else...but alone
Ответитьit's non binary
ОтветитьYou know, I usually can't stand Seth Rogen but man he knocked it out of the park with his portrayal of Wozniak.
ОтветитьThe Apple 2 is The only reason Apple survived long enough to change the world.
Ответить"It's right."
"No."
"It's right!"
"No."
("Just, no.")
Cradling your ego, over doing, or saying, or prioritizing, ANYthing else, ruins every fucking relationship on the planet.
And, it will be the same with A.I.
Stop.
Playing.
A.
Zero.
Sum.
Game.
Find.
A.
Win-Win.
And realize,
*it's not. ALL. ABOUT. *YOU.
Fassbender runs acting circles around Rogen.
Ответить"He didn't mean it" "Yes he did" "He's temperamental" "No he's not"
For all the flaws on display here, I appreciate that he refused to accept the lies designed to make him feel better.
I can't help but feel that Steve was right. But that's what it means to be 'decent', to allow those less capable than you to share the spotlight.
ОтветитьMy dad met steve. Said he was awful
Ответитьevery hollywood biography in the 2010s was a 3-hour version with this climax
CO-FOUNDER: You've gone mad with power and hurt a lot of people!
FOUNDER: Who cares, I made all the money so you're a loser!
and that's what America has turned into
Bill gates is my enemy and Jeff bezos
Ответитьthe acting and directing are really good but this just seems like a hit piece on steve jobs tbh
ОтветитьThe great thing about this film is it doesn't paint Jobs as a genius and a saint. Dude was an asshole. He was smart, theres no disputing that , but his arrogance was overwhelming and as such he must've been an absolute nightmare to work with and for
ОтветитьThe Newton was really just a pioneer for the iPhone, the technology just wasn’t there at the time. It was the future that was inspired by STNG … a portable hand held computer.
ОтветитьBill Burr was right
ОтветитьThis never happened. By this stage, there'd been no Apple 2 for 5 years and no substantial Apple 2 team for 10 years. This speech would be 1997 or 1998. Woz had left Apple in 1985. He was only an employee in a "ceremonial" capacity. He wasn't responsible for the Newton. John Sculley had also left Apple by 1993 and the Newton was on his successor's watch.
ОтветитьThis movie is better but Ashton was a better Steve Jobs
ОтветитьSteve Wozniak acts NOTHING like that.
ОтветитьHonestly tho. You gotta focus on the future. The world doesn’t care about the apple 2 anymore. They were there. They had their time. Go Steve! When your company is on the brink of extinction you have to simplify and make sure whatever it is you have kicks ass! What an outrageous thing to ask. New Products….NEW Products. NEW!!!
ОтветитьI agree with both of them. Woz was buried too deeply in the past and had no innovation or drive (in this movie at least) to create something new and better. But Steve was too stubborn and arrogant and to acknowledge people who created something even briefly successful without him.
Ответить
