In retrospect, the COVID pandemic may have been a lucky thing for Daði. If there was no pandemic, Daði would have been p'd off by the same fate as Käärijä this year; Switzerland would have won thanks to landslide jury votes, leaving Iceland second again, and we would have protested for the abolition of jury votes way earlier, thus allowing Käärijä to win in an alternative timeline.

2020 would’ve been such a good Eurovision. Russia & Iceland were soo good❤ many more too, but they were my favourites. Would’ve loved to see it, at least many returned for 2021.

Vocals are nuts. I love that the instruments are just plywood and LEDs. I got my bird back in 2020, and I would sing this for her every night while she was settling in. It’s one of her favorite songs now and it makes her settle right down, sometimes puts her right to sleep.
