Never liked the trigger dongle thing--find it distracting. Personally use a Sig 320--full frame. Superb.
ОтветитьThe shield plus has an even better trigger now.
M&P gaining even more ground.
I agree with below comments. This is what the Glock should be.
ОтветитьBoth great guns. S&W are a little more money per model type than Glock now.
ОтветитьGlock s jam now a lot of people who have had problems with the magazine freezing up on their s I have a smith and love it
ОтветитьGlock 1 year warranty if thy last a year. Smith life time warranty you want Plastic or medal 🏅 🤔
ОтветитьToo much with the hand movements. It’s like I’m watching a white South Park character rapping. M&P 2.0 and gen5 are equal. M&p ergos are superior for the vast majority of shooters. Glock has the longest trigger reach in the business. Most shooters are not able to even know what that means.
ОтветитьNew glock is about $100 cheaper on blue label. I still prefer m&p
ОтветитьWhy not buy both, problem solved, you're welcome 😉
ОтветитьGreat video!! Subscribed!! I too own a S&W M&P Shield.45 & a Glock G21 Generation 4. Yes I absolutely agree the S&W M&P Shield is by far a much better looking pistol. The Glock is not!!! The grip angle is better on the S&W M&P Shield than the Glock. As far as reliability I’m going to have say I feel they are both about equal. Is one more reliable that the other?? I think it would take 30,000 rounds fired in both pistols to find out!! Bottom line is this. I would certainly trust both the S&W M&P Shield & the Glock G21 with my life & yes I rotate carry both pistols as my EDC!!!!
ОтветитьBoth of them are beautiful in that there’s a lot to be appreciated from each one because they’re quality firearms. Both of them will shoot just about anything you feed them. I have both, but I don’t like the way the S&W pistol looks as far as ergonomics and the shape.
Glock is my kind of Ugly!
I have a M&P 9mm first model 2009 works great I haven't shot it a lot but I have put at least 1,800 rounds through it 100 percent reliable. I just bought a Glock 17 gen 3 just to give it a shot it is light weight I have only put 60 rounds through it 100 percent reliable I will see how it rolls.
ОтветитьAfter shooting glocks for 7 years, I got to shoot a buddy’s m&p 9… have to say it’s almost a coin toss for me. I still love the glock but the m&p pistols are an excellent choice…. I can’t decide!! I guess I’ll give it to the m&p, just because it’s an American brand 😂
ОтветитьBought the M&P 9mm 2.0 Wednesday to try out since I only own glock firearms and honestly I really am liking it alot! Good feel, shoots great. I think its out of the box a better gun! But If you wanna do your own customize and be versatile glock is unmatchable. I have a Pelican case with a Glock 22 and 21 in it and then a G17 complete slide with a 9mm mag and G20 Complete slide with a 10mm mag. So in one case I can go to the range and shoot 9mm,10mm,.40 cal and .45 cal! And gotta love that other guns even adapted to glock mags. (Example Ruger PC Charger)
ОтветитьWhen it comes to choosing a carry gun, one should always go with reliability. If I have two choices, a gun that looks great and feels great but runs like shit, or a gun that looks like shit and feels like shit but shoots like a charm and will work every time I need it to... you're damn right I'm going with the uglier gun lol. Because when it comes down to it, reliability should be the #1 priority. Regardless of country origin
ОтветитьI carry the full size m&p and it does not disappoint… I still like flocks though thinking about getting the 43x soon
ОтветитьAgreed.
ОтветитьGlocks may be good but they aren’t good looking. I prefer my M&P. I bought a 43x and just wasn’t happy. I put an optic on, a recovery rail so I can add a light. Got SA 15 round magazines, mag well ,night sights and and a few holsters. Well I kept the light & optic and got a fast $500 and ran
ОтветитьI have the same opinions! I do NOT like the way glock's look and the mag release just doesnt work for me (it feels spongey and plastic-y). Its always hard for me to eject with glocks but with the S&W, I've not had any problems ejecting. Great looking gun and I love the grip. Ive owned a shield (.40) before i traded it recently for an m&p 2.0. I'm SO happy with it.
ОтветитьI love my M&P shield 9mm and a m&p 40 full size 5". Had a full size 9mm but sold it. I never had a single issue what so ever with either one, and will eat pretty much any kind of ammo. I also like my Glock 20 but just think Smith and Wesson's are built better. I would have no problem trusting my life with an m&p
ОтветитьI can't find a holster for a m&p 40 (5" barrel) anywhere
ОтветитьI have both and a shield and a 43 also. I wanted to like the glock more. I tried to but the smith wesson just seemed better to me. It's also cheaper
ОтветитьM&P line is my choice. Never been a Block fan as they don't feel goid in my hand. So u agree with what you said.
ОтветитьI have the Glock and smith in 45 and 10mm both are equal
ОтветитьGlock is better
ОтветитьJust shoot what works for you personally. Thats why we have so many options. Its funny how every gun maker trying to dethrone Glock. Its not going to happen. Theres no best gun only best in terms of whats better for you.
ОтветитьMy best friend loves Glocks, I like everything, but Glocks are last on my list to buy. Do we give eachother shit? Yeah, for a good laugh. But if my bro is comfortable using a glock, then that’s what’s good for him and if I prefer other guns, that’s what’s good for me.
ОтветитьIf you don’t like the look of the Glock then you also don’t like the ‘63 Lincoln Continental.
ОтветитьCompré una mp9 4.25, recientemente y cuando la probé me sentí como hecha a la medida, , y agrupa super bien
ОтветитьNo gun is perfect, mechanical issue will happen if conditions are right no matter the manufacturer.
ОтветитьThe Shield IS better, Glock is boring, same ol' plain jane since the '80s.
ОтветитьThe M&P has a steel sub-frame underneath the polymer to make it a little more ridgid. I don't think many people know that.
ОтветитьI’m a Glock guy, but was a smith guy first! I love S&W. I actually wanted the 2.0 first, but I simply shoot the g19 better. Plus, I really like the aggressive Glock grip angle. Both are fantastic firearms!
ОтветитьThumb safety???
ОтветитьComparing Legends this way is pointless. Both are great reliable guns that will probably out live the owner. Cant go wrong with either one.
ОтветитьGlock is better cause its European. It looks classy and professional. The s&w looks like a cheap toy gun from mcdonalds or walmart
ОтветитьI agree with several of your points however. One thing that might need to be updated. Is that I just spoke with Glock yesterday 4-9-2024. They do in fact offer a lifetime warranty and it is indeed transferable. Just an fyi I have both guns and enjoy both.
ОтветитьI agree 💯 those were my exact thoughts you just put em on a video !!!
ОтветитьI love that we live in a time where guns are so nearly perfect that we can debate the absolute minutiae, the tiniest of details.
I have Glocks, Smiths, etc. I appreciate them all for different reasons.
I had never shot any Glock until yesterday. I was at the range and one of my fellow shooters got a load of my 92X performance and his eyes bugged! I asked him if he wanted to shoot a mag through it, and he agreed right away. He asked me if I wanted to try his Glock 23 .40 and I said yes. He loved the Beretta (as do I) but the big shocker, I LOVED the Glock! It had significantly more kick then the Beretta but it just fit my hands like a glove! Really bizarre, it felt like home, like it belonged in my hands, it was a strange experience feeling at home with a gun and caliber I'd never shot before and I shot straight bullseyes at 7 yards as though it was my gun that I'd practiced with all along! And all this without a dot! Do all Glocks feel the same or is it just the Glock 23 in the .40 caliber? I must have one!!! I'm not sure it was the 23. It was def a .40 cal and it was the same size as my son-in-law's Glock 19. Would that be the 23 or the 22 or.......?
ОтветитьI have as many S&W’s as I do glocks. Currently the only 2 makes I own.
Glock has been in service longer and used professionally (military/LE) than S&W.
Money aside, there is more and better aftermarket support for Glock.
I like both but Glock has a longer record with the best of the best
My mp45 compact 4 inch ,shoots and fits perfect, trigger is polished crisp light consistent, I own 9 different handguns the mp 45 , mp 5.7 shoot super nicei installed a dpm recoil kit ,shooting high velocity 230 grain landload's handle just as easy as my 9mm pistol
ОтветитьI think that M&P is a better gun but Glock is a better platform.
ОтветитьYou are dead wrong Glock is better you are literally going to hell for this video! LOL
ОтветитьIm an m&p guy. I only have 1 complaint. I live in the communist regime known as "canada". Its already hard enough getting anything firearm related so the fact that glock accessories, magazines, glock fed pcc's are a dime a dozen wherever you go is a big plus. That being said, i still sold my glock and kept my m&p lol
ОтветитьThe worst thing about Glock is that they refuse to listen to customer feedback and make simple improvements that would drastically change and improve their products. The sights alone are inexcusable at this point. I won't support a company that treats their customers like that. That said, the S&W is better in just about every regard.
ОтветитьI like and carry both of them. Glock needs to invest in innovation. Other gun manufacturers are just passing them up. They cold do a lot to improve the product. From what it is, to what it could be. Either way, both of them will serve you well. M&P just offers you so much more. For what you are paying for the product.
ОтветитьI prefer the m&p series of pistols because of the grip angle. I also like the sleekness of the frame. They come with metal sights. Mine came optics ready. Glock is a good pistol, it's just not my preference.
ОтветитьWell i'm a glock guy, but recently I am into S&W really a lot.. These things shoot just awesome.. I love everything about S&W, but i prefer ergonomics of a glock
Ответить
