Thank you so much This was very useful 💞💞💓
ОтветитьCan you please reply which course i want to study after my 12 grade (12 class in computer science) for becoming a graphic designer
ОтветитьAs a young adult with a mortgage & no formal education needing a career shift, this is incredibly helpful. Going down the formal education route is not an option for me, so it's useful to learn what I can do realistically if I have the discipline. Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you for this video! I have a question though - as a self taught designer, what exactly do you put on your resume to get hired.... Other than listing "proficient in Adobe suite, etc." I have a degree in something completely different than design (in education), so how do I get employers to look at me without formal education in design? I am worried that even before getting to the portfolio, they would just skip you because the resume wouldn't have formal design education on it.
I feel like many self taught designers can be even more qualified/knowledgeable sometimes bc of the amount of discipline that had to be done to be self taught in the first place haha - would really appreciate some insight into this, thank you! ❤
You are a gift! Thnx A LOT 💛💛💛😭 i was stuck not knowing from where to begin
Bt now i know thnx to you ❤

ОтветитьMan I wish I could like a video more than once. This helped tremendously thank you!
Ответитьi loved this video, thank you for sharing 🙏🏽♥️
ОтветитьGood
ОтветитьI appreciate the information and steps you provided. I graduate in May with my graphic design degree and still trying to figure out which route to take. I am getting back in the hang of creating things so my skills don't die. There are so many routes to take and I get lost. I am huge fan of Adobe Creative Cloud. I have been able to use it while I was in school as well as out of school!
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьThank you for this video. This video has answered my questions.
Ответитьhi
ОтветитьHi! I’m 28, and I’m in the architectural design industry and I’m seriously considering a career shift to graphic design. This video really helped me to put things in perspective.
ОтветитьStudying Design at a University was the worst for me. Studied in Germany and was happy to join the University in hopes of meeting alot of creative people that work together to grow together, what happend is that I met shady people that talk nicely into ur face but try to profit from ur knownledge while not sharing their own. Maybe it was because I live in germany and people here like in any other western country are not really into being kind and take care for the people around them but I can tell U as soon as ure different and dont fit into those radical liberal, drug taking, feminist circles on Design Universities u will have a really bad time there.
ОтветитьHi Dena. Thank you for. making this video. I am a senior in a design program right now and I am freaking out about graduating and figuring out what I want to do with my degree. Oddly enough this video is helping me to recenter myself and get back on track. Thank you.
ОтветитьNo resources at all? How can I be self taught if you won’t show resources
ОтветитьPlease how can get the softwares. How can I get the adobe cloud suite
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this info
ОтветитьVery helpful thank you
ОтветитьGreat vid 👍🏽
ОтветитьDo most remote job opportunities for graphic designers require a formal degree or is being self taught sufficient?
Ответитьhello everyone! hope you're having a lovely day. 🫂I am in need of advice, tips, and overall insight about the beginning phases of my journey.
here's a quick backstory:
for a long time, one of my greatest hobbies has been working on manipulation edits (Dena's floral portrait video is an example of what a manipulation edit is), purely for enjoying some alone time, having fun, and connecting with my friends. overtime I realized that the field of graphic design might be the "love what you do" type of career field for me. but I can't afford a bachelor's degree, only boot camps, educational books, and in-person and/or online courses.
I know that graphic design has a lot of fields but does anyone know specifically which could be fitting to my tastes to work on banners, flyers, infographics, etc? Dena's portfolio video also showcased some of her work that I'm heavily interested in, too.
additionally is it possible to pay my way as a self-taught? (assuming that I'll provide a good enough portfolio, of course) or is a degree an absolute necessity?
and if anyone could give advice on where to begin or tips that beginners should know, I'd be extremely grateful.
PS if my letter reaches anyone out there, know that I don't mind a detailed response, please! paragraphs or not, I'll read it all. thank you.
Is "behance" good for our portfolio?
ОтветитьI'm currently debating on going to school for graphic design or going the self taught way. This was very helpful and inspirational. Thank you! :-)
ОтветитьThank you! is all I can really say. I can watch your videos all day without skipping a bit of it. very educative, simple , straight to the point and motivates me as a new designer to be.

I'm really interested in graphic designing, enrolled into a paid course once as well and after that, just left practicing as I got into some family stuff. Now there is SO much information on the internet that its become so difficult to understand, where to start?? Cant even decide own niche! Love your work though and hoping to find some direction!
Ответитьhi, i have 1000 psd file with same background image but different logo and contact details at the bottom, i want to replace the background image for all the psd file in bulk, how can I do it?
