Sensory neural hearing loss

You still have a big thing on your head and a big one around your ear. Most unsightly and I would not want this on my head. The normal hearing aids are bad enough I will wait until medical research find another way not seen outside of ones head but hidden inside.

It might improve my hearing but I would look like a alien from outer space. NO THANK YOU

I hope they can eventually get it to where there are no wires or devices visible on or outside your head. Ive had Single Sided Deafness most of my life and Im doing just fine without one, but I would be interested in getting one if the technology improves.

This is amazing. I wish we had something like this for the blind. 😢 My dad starting losing sight when he was 15 and now it’s pretty much completely gone and his quality of life has decreased severely. It’s devastating to me. His only connection to the world is a 14 year old Apple computer with voice over but sadly Apple doesn’t support or update the OS anymore for old machines.
