Painless Ways To Commit Suicide

Hello everyone! I’ve been reading all of your comments and I’d like to address a couple of things. For starters! I understand that the title is misleading and I’d like to publicly address this and apologize. My intention was to discredit inaccurate information and educate everyone on these commonly used suicide methods.

95% of suicide attempts are unsuccessful according to the American Association of Suicidology. Statistically speaking each suicide attempt is more than likely to be painful, slow, and unsuccessful. Lies have been circulating online for years and most are believed as true, but there is no guaranteed way to end your life painlessly. There are too many factors to accurately determine the outcome.

Out of respect and on the behalf of everyone who is struggling with their mental health, I want the comment section to be centered around helping those in need. Everyone should be able to voice their feelings, thoughts, and beliefs, but hurtful and potentially harmful comments will be deleted. I will be doing my best to provide a safe space here in the comment section to those that would like to share their story or seek advice. There are plenty of people here that would love to help or listen (myself included).

More importantly, I’d like to thank everyone who has shared their stories, past/present experiences, and to those who have been trying to help despite the negativity. Thank you all very much for sharing this moment in time with me and I hope you all have a life full of happiness and fulfillment!

Sometimes i feel like i need too.. I know it's not right and nothing good will happen if i do try to commit suicide. I've been suffering from depression for a few years and i just want to end that, i want to end the pain, the suffering, end my life..

I want to disappear without a trace without pain and without effecting anyone

I tried overdose. 12 sleeping tablets. Later it made me felt lime crap and been hospital 2 days

I don’t want to kill myself. The son of a family friend killed himself years ago and I saw the aftermath. I couldn’t do that to my family. I really just want to go to bed one night and not wake up. Bed is the only thing I look forward to because I think there’s a chance that I might not wake up.

I came to this channel to report it, but I’m glad that the message is what it is. Then I find all of the poor souls in the comments. Depression is real and it can just be all encompassing I’m sure but gratitude and community are the way out of pain and suffering. My grandma killed herself when my mom was just 12 and so I have never had her in my life. I feel like if she hadn’t been so lonely, she would probably still be here. I haven’t ever been suicidal but during Covid it was hard and coming out of Covid was also hard but I hope others in the comments who are feeling lonely and in despair can find it in yourself to fight to find your own community, make memories in this life and then pass on when you’ve lived it fully.
