When you compared indoor dogs to working dogs, I had a vision of you trying to find a job for Melvin. 😂
Ответитьhe's so handsome!!! Glad hims got a spa day!
ОтветитьI had an English bulldog who once getting a bath would seak out a mud puddle to roll in. Trust me, that fat girl was spoiled as hell.
Ответитьa busy dog is a happy dog
ОтветитьStorm is a beautiful dog, you did a lovely job on his grooming. I am sure he feels much better now he is clean and brushed!
ОтветитьMy Shiloh is at this moment depressed because its 7 degrees and I wont let him stay out.
ОтветитьActually he didn't look that bad considering he's been out getting grubby for 9 years.
ОтветитьThat's a big freaking dog
ОтветитьWe had a lab mix cross Rhodesian Ridgeback dog that was never groomed in her 10 odd years. She had a short coat and protected our hobby farm orchard from our Aussie wildlife. She was a slab of muscle and was smart enough to dunk herself in the creek in the spot that the Crocodile couldn’t get to easily. Most loyal dog we have ever had until someone stole her to use as a feral pig hunting dog (allegedly, couldn’t prove it). I miss that girl
Ответитьshe looks so beautiful!!!
ОтветитьWow! What a nice Sheppard! Great transformation!
Ответить❤
ОтветитьThat dog is huge
ОтветитьWith as many comments and subscribers as you have, and I am one, you have no time to respond but I just have to thank you for these posts as I can no longer own a dog or cat and I live vicariously through your good deeds and loving care.
ОтветитьThe other frustration we rural folk have when city folk drive through is when they spot a "lost" dog near the road. Yes, some dogs are abandoned, but some are farm dogs securing their property. If you are not a member of that community, leave it and report it.
Ответитьit was a throwaway line, but goldfish have a reputation for dying easily because most people don't know what their needs are. they're ornamental carps that can produce a lot of waste so do best in either a wellmaintained pond or a large, heavily filtered tank. sadly a lot of people assume they can live in bowls, and well :( the fish die prematurely in a pretty awful way. fish need just as much consideration as any other pet!
ОтветитьPeople don't get that most dogs were bred with a purpose and a desire to fulfill that purpose. Farm dogs like these will be a million times happier than, say, a hunting dog who doesn't see any forests and is instead kept in a stuffy house near 24/7
ОтветитьHe is beautiful ❤
ОтветитьPeople who think a dirty dog is a neglected dog clearly don't let their dog go out and play.
ОтветитьWhile I don't think that working dogs are neglected, I think that good boys like Storm deserves a spa day at least once a year.
Ответитьimagine this conversation:
she's at the dentist and the dentist asks trying to start a conversation:
dentist: well, what do you do for a living?
she: im a groomer, and you?... wait dont answer that
dentist: you are a WHAT?!
"Survial skills of a goldfish." Could you please explain this to my Shih Tzu? He seems to think he belongs in "the wild" the way he takes off out the front door hightailing it away from warm beds, good food, frequent treats, and unlimited scritches. Ungrateful turd burglar.
ОтветитьHe's so beautiful!
ОтветитьI had a mini heart attack when you said that farm dogs are neglected. 😅 thanks for setting it straight
Ответить"Survival skills of a goldfish" Shih Tzus catching strays for no reason 🤣🤣
ОтветитьHe’s beautiful!
ОтветитьDogs livin In the country are always gettin Into everything & that don't mean they're neglected.
ОтветитьPeople have a severe mental illness thinking animals are humans they are not. They are animals that have been around a lot longer than us and are smarter than us and can survive better than us. Stop treating an animal like a human it's an animal!! Stop being a keyboard idiothat knows nothing about what you're' talkng about. Farm dogs family are the animals on the farm not the humans!! Humans are actually secondary. He is a beautiful smart dog!!
Ответить🥰😍
ОтветитьWhat a sweet boy. And another great transformation.
ОтветитьWow. Whata transformation. They are like us kids from the 60s onwards. And years going back. We'd have snotty noses, eat soil with our butties. Hahaha. Climb trees. Pick at the bubbling tar in summer. Now, kids can do none of that, parents go mad. But we were loved. Like those working dogs, not pampered, just loved. Yes, there are some that only look at them as a dog, a working dog with no effection, i know a farmer like that, but loads are not as unemotional with their dogs. And i like that kind of farmer. A loving one. ❤. And that shepherd is just so cuddly. Gorgeous. ❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьShepherds are the best working dogs I feel when they are pets they go stir crazy
ОтветитьWell said 🎉
ОтветитьDogs are animals
ОтветитьDon’t call him pathetic please.
ОтветитьWell, it's so much easier to be preachy and judgy about something that you know nothing about! I love these videos! Not only is it fun watching critters get pampered, but the wisdom imparted is a pearl beyond price!
ОтветитьI live for these videos. I love seeing how you transform the working dogs from dirty and matted to clean and smooth.
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьIf you let your dog get matted, that’s neglect. Neglect doesn’t always mean abuse, sometimes it just means uncared for. So yeah, he’s neglected.
ОтветитьSuch a handsome boy 😍❤️
ОтветитьDuring my childhood we had 2 dogs simultaneously, both of them have passed the rainbow bridge now, which makes sense since I got one of them when I was 3 and I’m 23 today, the other one pre-existed my birth
One of them, named Mira, was a border collie, who helped dad around the farm
The other one, the dog we got when I was 3, named Molly, was a bichon frise.
Let me tell you, I know that if Mira got lose and lost in the forest, girl would be fine. She was a hunter, herder, and overall disliked being indoors at any point in time unless it was -10° Celsius (which considering I live in Scandinavia was not unusual in winter)
Molly? If Molly did not get picked up by a family within the first 3 hours the fox would take her. Then again Molly would never leave our farm, she’d sit outside and wait for someone to open the door for her (they had a doggy door… Molly was just too dumb to figure it out…)
Molly’s daughter, Alpha, is still alive and well and is around 14 years old at this point, she’s an old girl, living her best life in an apartment complex with my now elderly parents after they sold the farm
Beautiful dog!
ОтветитьNo lie, some dogs even if they aren’t a working dog are just instantly in love with mud puddles and such. I have a dog, his name is Casper and is almost pure white save from the dark spots he has on his face and ears. And even as a pup he always loved laying on puddles 😅 meanwhile his siblings do their best not to step on puddles lol.
ОтветитьMy shihzhu did not like ur comment😂
ОтветитьAbsolute rubbish and you damn well know it. Working dogs will get muddy most days, I have one but to let one get into that state with it's fur is very neglectful and you know it. If you have a dog for 9 years and can't spare 2 hours every 2 months to keep it's fur comfortable then I have to question your love for your friend.
ОтветитьJust wait for the comments you get when you say you let your cat outside 😬
ОтветитьAre you little or is he huge😂
ОтветитьAww he’s so big and beautiful…you can tell he is loved and well taken care of. ❤
ОтветитьAlmost 2000 comments means people have an opinion on the care of working farm dogs .
I am not knowledgable , so my opinion is unnecessary . I have to ask if all the farm animals should have baths , and matted long hair should be shaved ?
He is just a beautiful dog❤
