We bought a 2021 build for 16.000 EUROs. We have another ZOE type 2. We know the shortcomings but the car is small, efficient and cheap. We had with both cars no issues at all.
ОтветитьDon't buy a new one, get a 12month old top spec GTLINE PLUS with 6000miles for less than £14000 now with the remainder of 5 year warranty. Great value ev then. We have 2 and love them.
ОтветитьIt’s get 0start in Euro NCAP^_^
ОтветитьWhat a dreadful car when compared to it's rivals.
ОтветитьLove my Zoe 135 but 'A' pillers are very obstructive and ecometer reads 0.8 miles per kwh optimistic, actual being 3.6 m/kwh over 28k miles. No seat height adjustment means that anyone below average height needs a cushion. BW
ОтветитьFor a small car 20 to 30k is expensive. Could buy a decent saloon car at that price.
Ответитьthey could at least offer biger battery at least 80 kwh
Ответить11,5kWh/100km
ОтветитьHello! You can buy a double bottom for the boot. This summer my sweet little Zoe had a new consumption record: 11.5 kWh/ kilometer. Who else? Fabulous. Also the Zoe is able to charge with 22 kW speed in my street. Who else. And with my Zoe it is possible to use Tesla's superchargers which means cheap charging costs and easy. And believe me those Tesla drivers have to wait as long as I do, but I take a walk. This week I am driving to Spain, this little car has enough comfort for big distances, not getting tired. And my renting battery gives me free road service and a new battery at the end. Who else?
ОтветитьI bought mine in 2020 and now have 65 000 km on the meter. I thought my next one would be the new Zoe but this review has got me thinking... I do not agree with some of the criticism eg my cable fits nicely in a booth in the trunk that's closed off with a lid. And the seats work for me, no need for racing seats.
Ответитьbut the NEW model 50 has NO Side air back therefor side safty is a big issue in this model..
ОтветитьIf you're considering the Zoe it's probably because it's small, saying larger cars have more space in is classic annoying car sales, sorry journalism ("the new version is more practical because it's has more space in the previous smaller version" right did the road get wider?)
ОтветитьShe’s left out the most important reason NOT to buy this car. It has a zero NCAP safety score. Only the third car in 13 years to score zero. Renault should be embarrassed. I’d never put my family in it
ОтветитьThis puppy is a star in the used car market. It may be lacking in the DC fast charge side of charging, but it can take up to 22kW AC if you happen to have a triphasic installation. Well built, cheap to run, understated, yet capable if you get the right version.
ОтветитьI drove this yesterday and enjoyed it.l to my surprise. I had much leg room and am 195 cm. 😊. It’s a little noisy on the highway but you get used to it. It’s also fast.
ОтветитьThe R110 with CCS can be had for cheap now and I only found one Corsa-e in the same price range. As a secondhand EV it's practically unbeatable.
ОтветитьSounds like they are back burning the Zoe so the higher end more expensive car they will be selling seems like a better deal. In the US I can get a fully loaded Kona EV with better specs for $7,000 less
ОтветитьYes, buy a used 50 kwh half new price and almost new.....
ОтветитьI have a ZE50 and I do really like it, but all your complaints I totally agree with. Renault should reduce the price down now as it's so far behind a lot of the competition. One thing I will say though, the car is efficient. If the new Renault 5 can address a lot of the issues the Zoe has but maintain the efficiency it'll be a winner. The R5 is much more attractive too.
ОтветитьThe Zoe has been plagued by suspension issues, which are expensive to fix. Not a great car, so the MG4 seems to be a good bet.
ОтветитьI will not buy another ev without 22kw AC charger, this is superstar feature! and ayou have forget to mention about... this car is for people that care about time an money, not for sporty experience when driving. It is briliant car for day to day driving even long distances, also it is realy cheap to maintain...do not know otjer car wit this features , still in 2023 it is one of the best evs on the market... no complain about driving experience you need to just to it... Im not a fanboy of zoe ,this coment is because zoe is exceptionaly good cheap and raly nice car for normal.people...
ОтветитьYou can pick up 13 plate ones for just 4-5 thousand pounds
ОтветитьThe Ncap is meaningless almost the original Zoe had 5 stars! They give more stars for more gimmicks that you don't need or use.
ОтветитьJust bought one, 2 years old under 9000 miles. £14900. Massive trade in allowance on my 11 month old Dacia Sandero. The Zoe is my third EV it will do for me! But don't buy a new one! Fire that money I would get an MG TROPHY for the same money or save up and by the MG4 X power with 429bhp. FOR £36,495
Ответить🌈 Promo sm
ОтветитьGuru ji, are speak hindi, and one more think about zoe ev, how long time to launch zoe ev in India.
ОтветитьWas it once a good ev to buy then? 🧐
ОтветитьThe main reason why I don't buy Zoe is the total disaster of NCAP test. Now I don't mean the number of stars, but the map of body damage in frontal and side impact of a car, there can be fatal injury of the chest or head... Even Chinese cars like the MG4 have better NCAP crash test results.. Nissan Leaf II is high-class safe beside Zoe, so it is shame of Renault..
Ответитьbeautiful mrs
ОтветитьAnd that's not to mention the Zoe's shocking Euro NCAP score and savage depreciation! The new 5 can't come soon enough.
ОтветитьYou'll probably be ofuaye with this
ОтветитьAfter fully charged the Renault ZOE range shown in the dashboard is about 240 to 250 miles or up to 420 km during summertime. If you drive it in ECO mode, it is no problem to drive it efficiently and being able come close to this range. The effective range in winter time is about one third less, but this affects more or less all BEVs. The CCS charger is optional what is not really a very good decision made by Renault although as mentioned by others, it has a 22 kW onboard charger. It has a large 338 liter trunk can be extended to about 1225 liters, and putting the charging cable rolled up and stoved into a bag helps to get rid of the spaghetti cable situation shown in the video and it is a 5 seater what is a real plus. Additionally, it has 3 ISOFIX mounts what is amazing. What many also do not know, 3 years of map updates and software updates are included. There are real knobs and buttons everywhere so you do not have to fiddle around with flimsy touch controls. Overall it is a very good BEV and many of it‘s rivals are not able to come even close to what the ZOE has to offer.
ОтветитьI've had a Zoe nearly 3years now, and I still love driving it. The 22kw charging beats the competition and if you have to rely on public charging alone, this is a must
Handling seems fine to me, but I'm not a boy racer and am happy to poodle around.
The seats are ok, a little firm. But that's my only criticism.
I would definitely have another when my lease runs out.
Typical legacy car firm design, use LFP battery to Keep cost down, not cheapened the rest of the car.
ОтветитьJust bought a 1 year old Zoe with under 8k miles for half the price of new, this thing is a bargain as a used proposition.
ОтветитьThanks for being critical. Manufacturers need to learn the areas they have made mistakes
ОтветитьA thorough review, thank you
ОтветитьI had my eye on a R135 GT Line a couple of years ago - the PCP deals were astonishing at the time.
However, like you mentioned about the seats not adjusting for height, I just couldn't get a comfortable position of seat vs steering weight height - consequently, aching shoulders after only a 30 minute test drive.
I ended up getting another car you mentioned in this video - the excellent BMW i3... an altogether better car in terms of technology, build and design.
Rebecka is just doing her job perfectly, such a beautiful presentation.
ОтветитьIs there any good EV buy? Expensive to purchase, impractical in the real world ( can you get anti-depressants for range anxiety) and with highly dubious green credentials. EVs are a con , bought by rich virtue signalling smug wallies .
ОтветитьI've had one of each of the variants of the Zoe (2015, 2018 and 2022) it has gradually gone downhill with each iteration. It has definitely had it's time. That doesn't mean it doesn't make a decent usable car, but it's definitely needs to be replaced. We'll probably see it dropped from Renault's line up in the next year or so, in fact there is some evidence that is already happening.
ОтветитьThe Zoe went upmarket and "mature" which unfortunately set it back.
Renault didn't focus on affordability. Bigger battery packs are welcome but a realistic 100 mile battery is needed which would be more than what the original 22kWh Zoe had.
Zero stars at EuroNCap - 43% occupant protection - would you really want to be in one?
ОтветитьThank you Rebecca and Gurus Team, as always you present well and clearly. Good to see the Zoe still going which is amazing considering it’s age. Right back to my day…or is it forward? - humour with the seats in this review 🤭
Ответить30k for this??? Yeah, right.
ОтветитьIis a perfectly safe car. The Euro NCAP scores are a load of rubbish now. All cars have perfectly safe passenger calls now. This thing about cars needing more and more electronics is a gimic and should not impact the crash score of the car.
The ZOE is a great car.
Ev's have a place but so does ice a little fiesta is just as green and wayyyy yayyyyy cheaper to buy run
Ответить32k lol You'd have to be nuts.
ОтветитьBuying a secondhand one makes more sense. A 18 month old R135 Iconic trim model with 10k miles is less than £14k on Autotrader.
ОтветитьWell - our 135bhp has cost £155 in 'fuel' to reach 16,000 miles. It's not meant to roar in the outside lane either although a new one at £32k is bonkers. Almost new at £15k and the larger bhp a must and it will pay for itself if you keep it 10 years. Nab yourself a bargain, poorest review I've seen Rebecca do.
