ОтветитьSteve Wright in the afternoon, was the best show on uk Radio by a country mile. Love Scott Mills but he doesn’t compare. Music was miles better too.

ОтветитьUp there with mark & lard.....radio Geniuses ❤ rip steve😢
ОтветитьSteve Wright on the radio was an integral part of life to me in my early years, through school, university and into work. Ever-present on the airwaves for generations of Brits and loved by so so many. The man truly served with distinction, with so much energy, humour and love for so many years. Just an all-round legend and good egg. God bless you, Wrighty and may you rest well. ♥️
ОтветитьLove the show, Steve <3
ОтветитьSteve was a natural born entertainer and knew what people wanted. Afternoons from 2-5pm was golden time where Steve waved his magic and everything was right with the world again no matter what was going on. Will miss him a lot. Radio 2 won’t ever be the same again. ❤
ОтветитьAlways loved listening to you Steve on an afternoon x 🙏🏻😌 gone way too soon.

ОтветитьSteve Wright Radio LEGEND xxx What more did the BBC want, Steve HAD IT ALL & we still want him now. xxx R.I.P To the best Radio Presenter Ever
ОтветитьI loved listening to Steve Wright in the afternoon it brighten my mood. I liked his sense of humour,he seemed so happy on the radio. I miss his guests, and the great music he played. Thanks for all, Steve.
ОтветитьI only want to listen to Steve wright on the radio only he had the funny sense of humour no one else has or ever will and played the best tunes so sad he’s gone not the same now 😞
ОтветитьI will forever miss his voice, along with Ken Bruce.
ОтветитьI think that every bank holiday the BBC should repeat one of Steve’s shows in his normal afternoon slot just to cheer people up and to remember when Steve kept the nation entertained in his own inimitable style which is sadly missed already by his legion of faithful fans. “Ask Elvis” was just genius.
ОтветитьMiss Steve so so much . On leaving school in the 80s and hearing the afternoon show in the summer. Plus the great radio 1 roadshows. Always hope that Steve would visit our town but we got Simon Bates. I remember after Our Tune the entire crowd was like a mass gathering at a funeral. Steve was the best and always will be just a fantastic fabulous entertainer. Rip we all dearly miss you so much
ОтветитьRadio 2 made a massive mistake getting rid of Steve,Scott mills is so boring. I’d rather have rylan do the afternoon show. RIP Steve you were the best
ОтветитьHI THIS IS JEREMY VINNEE…
ОтветитьThe feature that Steve did called non stop oldies. I wouldn't have classed any of it as non stop oldies. Kid rock is a really old song is it? Non stop oldies I would have asked listeners for rare songs from the 1940's to 1960's. Steve had a warm friendly voice who is sadly missed. He would have fitted in well carrying all the same features to Boom radio where he could play load more songs and not the same ones like the BBC.
