It was so satisfying seeing Kashurra put Lina in her place. She was such an arrogant entitled hypocrite

“You overstepped” once you know who he is….yikes that’s the turning point in the conversation. The minute he shows his power you can see the desperation and fear. One of the best scenes in any anime. So powerful. You go from cheering him to fearing him very quickly. Lina did overstep and the price was steep.

Is kashurra an eldwyrm? It's confusing because vadrak killed all the dragons right so how is he there by pillars with the dragons discussing how to kill invoker and TB and here also in this scene. I know the 8 dragons have incarnations so are those incarnations weaker but identical looking to the originals? Like all other dragons including kashurra energy comes from the original 8? What aren't I understanding about the scene and this?

In the Silmarillion Sauron fights one of the high kings of the Noldor in a mage battle I always imagined this is how it went.

I liked Lina. She’s a badass with a good heart, though she doesn’t always think things through. All she wants is a better Helio Imperium. She saw the previous Emperor as the fraud he was and she feared that Mirana was the same. She hired the assassin to kill Mirana because of that fear, and in the hopes that it would cause the Emperor to step down so that someone better could ascend. Not necessarily her.
