Story was interesting but then I didn't understand why Dylan's friend neck creaked like Belinda. Doesn't make sense

I think Belinda killed herself before the film happened and was some kind of a ghost at the beginning of the film, that's why her body " has been there for a while" when found by the guy. Then Belinda, or rather her ghost, lured Mindy to the house and the ritual was performed to transfer her soul into the Mindy's body. There's also the moment when one of the guys sais that Belinda shouldn't have come back from the winter break. I think Belinda's suicide occurred either just before or during this break, which explains why body was found only during the film and why it wasn't fresh. Another hint that Belinda was already dead during the beginning of the film is that she told drama teacher about afterlife not being that bad. And lastly, the real reason for her suicide is the one mentioned by "Mindy" in the end. Still not clear what happened to Mindy's soul, maby Belinda and her mother will try the ritual again, but now with that guy's body( probably as a way of thanking Mindy for being nice to Belinda).

Imagine if you went to a new school and everyone else was odd - and you were not - now imagine later on you notice that were ever you go - everyone else on the entire planet seems odd - but not you. Imagine writing it down for others to see and they all think you must be odd. But the odd thing is - you are not - actually the reality is you got sent to the wrong planet by mistake because the universe was having an odd moment when you were conceived.

Oddly enough you knew how to make money and didn't have to work anymore after you was 45 - but money and material things meant nothing to you - relationships all the many many many that you had - also were all known to be transitory and thus fairly worthless as anything sustainable - you watch silly little movies with no real life lesson to pass the time because oddly enough you have discovered on this planet everything is fairly worthless and all is transitory and no matter what you're doing it is just passing time - until you die and move on to another expression of consciousness someplace else on a different planet or different dimension - so in the mean time you amuse yourself the best you can with things that you cannot take with you except the influx of vibrations to your soul in what ever direction you are inclined to gravitate towards.
