Anomaly is fun... Got my own masochistic setup for it. Traders don't sell guns or armor, only few food and meds, hardcore AI aim, mutant and stalker pop 0.75, traders only buy stuff that has 60% durability, their buying pice is 0.5x while sell price is 2x, just like repair and upgrade. Forcing you/me to use more crafting (thank god l found a good ammo crafter addon), and ofc, got refillable canteens. And playing as bandit :D

cool vid ;) its the only game that makes my throat dry from shouting kurwa! every 30 sec or less... but somehow im loving it, im playing with some mods, enemies maxed out, my char as shitty as possible to get that true slavic feeling of a poor gopnik with horrible hangover that someone dropped dead drunk to the zone which is dark and full of terrors xD just cant get enough of it

having done quite a bit of scavenging in all 4 games, let me warn y'all. reselling guns & gear in anomaly is an A-grade pain in the ass.
that's how i funded my progress in the originals and it will NOT work here.
Anyone will buy food, mutant bits or meds, though.

My advice? buy an echo artefact locator (the best in the game,it's like 10-12K rubles iirc), because anomaly can deliver more than one in one area (that's adjustable in the mod menu, too, if you feel the grind takes too long) and these, when sold to the ecologists or clear sky, grant you pretty nice money. and they dont cost all that much if you learn to prep yourself against psi or rads beforehand.

Everything's overcomplicated and turned to 11, normal in anomaly is hard in the og's. you cant heal yourself in seconds anymore. going too hot fucks you up for a while. same goes for the damn guns. there's 100+ gun parts, every long gun has 6 elements specific to it's familly (bolt, bolt carrier, trigger, gas system/ejector, barrel) and if one breaks, or is below 30% the gun's fucked and shouldnt be used in combat. so you'll be scavenging guns a long time before you can main a nato pew pew...
pistols are far simpler, but... yeah there's still a ton of them and if you like the px4 or the 1911 it'll take a while to get spares for it.
So if you're not a gun nut it's not a friendly game. at all.

Especially since the AI can full auto with broken triggers.
