Cinema sins does not sin the easy bottleneck points of the crack in helms deep and the door. Just split your force half & half and just make a small curved shape and have everyone stand there ready to take someone’s place if they die. i actually found many no sins. This guy is probably finding sins for the regular movie watcher who didn't read the lotr trilogy.

The Rohirrim were patrolling the borders and hunting orc packs, they wouldn't ride as a single unit against guerilla strikes, that would be highly inefficient. Love your work but some sins can be explained, Peter Jackson's interpretation of the books was fantastic and I don't believe we'll get anything better, sadly.

Sam is mean because he does not trust Gollum. He is right soooooo. This also builds to a moment where a rift between Sam and Frodo comes up due to Frodo seeing himself in Gollum and Sam seeing no hope for Gollum to come back. Which in Frodo's mind means there is no hope for him.

The closed fist is not what stops the ring. It's more of snapping Frodo out of the trance he was in. I guess that is too subtle for you though.

The guard would not necessarily know that it is a magical staff. But Gandalf is also a demi god so he could probably pull some magic if he needed to. He also has a ring that has the ability to basically turn people's hearts to good so this could have also been a factor since Gamling would likely know that something is not right in Rohan and Gandalf can fix it.
