I' always say it...back when these guys came out or the 4 big European bands they were considered original death metal! Every band that started in the 80s gets put into the thrash category which is so wrong...if anything there should be genre called original death metal or dark thrash or black thrash. When I listened to kill em all back then and then listened to destruction or these guys or sodom and even early slayer it wasn't the same!!

i mean yeah the vocals and so on are thrash trademarks but the lyrics and the intensity are actually death sounding
which means kreator may have been the first ones to play death metal 🔥
