I love your photos, do you still use your phone as a light meter?
Ответитьfantastic video Teo. You should create a zine with these shots!
ОтветитьLoved this one Teo! I find myself becoming more and more interested in suburbs and everyday scenes as I travel more and find subtle differences from place to place. Those tiles on the River bed were really cool!!
ОтветитьI get overexposed Portra 400/ Portra 160/ and Fuji Pro 400H vibes from this film stock, which I really really like. The greens pop like they do on Pro 400H and the other colors have that light and "airy" contrast while giving that creamy pastel look. I will say, the reds on this stock is what separates it from the rest. As I type this and continue watching, the more and more I like it. Great video my brother, as always. :) Definitely going to be picking up a few rolls of this.
ОтветитьI love your channel because whether it's the photographs, or the actual videos, you're a great storyteller. You inspire me to be more authentic in what I do, and help improve on my quality. 🙏
Ответитьphotographing smalltown and rural japan is my long-time dream, you are so lucky to be able to have done that 🤩
one day ill go on a trip there. one day.
Beautiful! Love your videos mate
ОтветитьThe intro 😍
ОтветитьI've heard that Japan is clean. But this is way more than my expectation. No single trash or leaves on most of the roads. As if they washed the streets diligently. Wow.
ОтветитьI really like how you use your imagination and patience to take certain shots. I’m going to work on this!
ОтветитьI love the photo of the mom and kids in the beginning. It is one I would have liked of myself with my five kids! Such a “day in the life moment” and I’m glad you captured it too.
These Japan photo walks have been so relaxing to watch and I love that you are also going to regular neighborhoods like a local. I can’t wait to go back someday and experience more of Japan. Such a picturesque country!
Loving these Japan videos! Been binge watching all of them in one afternoon
ОтветитьDreamy pastel colors on film ✨
ОтветитьReally enjoyed watching this. I did a lot of small town explorations around my city with camera before, now not so much. I need to do it again. Tokyo is a whole different beast though.
ОтветитьWhat lens do were you using here? I love the shots of your trip to Japan so far, and I have been looking for a nice lens for my own Pentax K1000, it would be lovely for you to let me know :)
ОтветитьThe amounts of times I replayed the first second of the video just because of the sound of the book slapping down on the floor. Gorgeous.
ОтветитьLovely shots, but I wonder if you got the mom's permission to photograph her kids and publish the photos on the internet? Maybe Japan is more tolerant but it's not something we'd do in the UK.
Ответитьhey Teo will you do any more "I edit your photos" videos
Ответитьwo befestigst du deine gopro immer? :)
ОтветитьAbsolutely loved the intro shots Teo. Also I realized I’ve watched a bunch of your videos but never told you that you were a huge influence on me getting a Lumix gx85. It’s such a good pickup
ОтветитьLove from India 🇮🇳 🤍🤍🖤
Ответить人をまえから写真とるのはむずかしいね。うしろからの写真もいいと思うよ!
The Japanese sign said “見晴し台” みはらしだい which means “observatory” 👍
たのしいビデオをありがとう!
I liked how you talked about how even a simple photograph now, just really documenting normal life, can one day mean so much more - evoking feelings of nostalgia. As always, great photos
ОтветитьBeautiful video as usual, may I ask what how you afix the gopro to yourself? Is it just a classic headstrap?
Ответитьmore vids like this plssssss
ОтветитьSo incredible video, the one of the temple and the one of the taxi.... in love with that photos! 😍 Keep doing this type of video!!
ОтветитьI really enjoy your thoughtful commentary of so many of the photographs you choose to show. it encourages me to think much more critically about every image I make!
ОтветитьThanks for your video! Question tho, I am travelling to asia soon and I am going back and forth whether to bring lumix MFT or Canon full frame DSLR. (I am thinking of bringing 35mm and mamiya 645 as well) Which would you recommend?
ОтветитьWould love to see you breakdown your gopro settings. It looks so good!
ОтветитьI actually loved the shot with the lady with the umbrella. I would have done it differently with the lady right infront of me, in line with her shadow, both being in the centre of the frame!
ОтветитьThis is a wonderful video. Thank you so much for it! I really enjoyed the photos you took. Also, because the colors are great. You master the composition and even though I know, you are too modest to nod your head now, this makes you even more sympathetic. Keep up your great work!
Ответитьlove the analog intro!
Ответитьi would give anything to be able to do this in tokyo again. i visited for 2 weeks during my third year of university and i can't wait to go back.
ОтветитьI love your all photo and the color of your viedo~~~🙏Pretty nice!!!
ОтветитьTeo, thanks again for letting us in on the creative process. May I say, you’re getting better! I’m enjoying your work more and more, man. Especially on the postcards
Maybe l haven’t been watching for long enough but I’d love to see what you can do with ektar100. Just an idea 😉
whoa was ein Brett
ОтветитьDude… this is epic. You definitely gained a new subscriber
ОтветитьLoving this bro. ❤ So good.
ОтветитьLove these photos! What did your setup look like for most of these shots? Shutter, aperture, etc.?
ОтветитьThat was an absolutely fantastic intro! The audio of it was great!
ОтветитьOn the "taking pictures of peoples' backs" comments: personally I do it because it leaves an air of mystery of the subject. Just as well, it kind of feels like you're doing whatever you're doing and you just so happen to look up and notice someone is there doing their own thing. You both exist and don't have to acknowledge each other, it's life in and of itself: when you're walking down the road and see the delivery person putting a package in the mail, you might pass by and never see their face, they might see you pass only seeing your back or they might not have noticed you were even there.
I think Street Photography is whatever story you're wanting to tell and it doesn't matter how you tell it: if it's from behind the subjects as they look onto the landscape, or showing what they are seeing/ interacting with, then so be it.
I love the photo at the train station with the mum and kids!
Ответитьウェスアンダーソンっぽくて好きだ
ОтветитьI used to live around Tachikawa and I used to drive everywhere around the places. Now that I live in central Tokyo I kind of miss it, and watching this video made it realize the place is actually quite interesting and makes me want to go back for a visit. but this time to actually walk around, take it slow, and take pictures!
Ответитьthis film stock doesnt get talked about enough...why is that???
