Chester has been my vocal idol and the biggest influence of all on my singing style. His technique is impeccable. His voice stayed healthy and in tip top shape for his entire career. Such great flexibility and POWER throughout his whole range. When I was a kid I was lucky enough to see them twice on tour and was blown away. I'm thankful to him and LP forever and I'll always treasure those teenage memories of listening to their records and feeling so seen and heard listening to their words, and that one of a kind voice.

Music was his freedom, r.i.p

How I got hooked on Linkin park..hearing Chester scream! Quite long too! And then listening to the lyrics alot of it matched how I felt with my depression and anxiety also with my life too. But then I started hearing his cries!😢 And it hurt but his songs were still so amazing because of his vocals and how he could actually put the right emotion into it, probably because of how he felt. I'm still thankful that Chester braved it and steeled himself to scream out how he felt because for me listening to him saved my life,as I once tried to end myself. Him and his bandmates and my mom, older brother they saved me! Linkin park means the world to me and always will and so will my family that I can actually hug without being nervous or quiet around, I love you all! I miss you Chester! You were my favorite vocalist singer song writer and family man I ever heard of!
