Best seen live with the telling pauses between dialogues.Mark Strong lives up to his name being strong and passionate in his performance.

I saw 'A View from the Bridge' and 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' screenings at the cinema and thoroughly enjoyed. PLEASE PUT SUBTITLES ON THE SCREENINGS SO THAT HEARING IMPAIRED PEOPLE CAN ACCESS THESE TOO.

terrible that the places they are shown are often poor spaces too; not theatre "like" experience too and silly too with a pandemic still around

It looks amazing but I don't know if much of any US cinemas open. A little thing called a global pandemic.

Saw this live, it was very good.

I thought for one blinding moment that they were going to screen this online. I saw it in the cinema and it was absolutely magnificent.

Please open these up on you tube as well. It was such a pleasure to see them since we dont live in England these movie formats dont make it much to other countries

Such a powerful production. So moving. There is I suspect a valuable source of revenue from streaming past productions.

As much as I enjoy NT Live, I saw this on Broadway and was astonished and horrified how awful this was. A friend of mine and I were trying to come up with how to describe Ivo as a director and she came up with the perfect word: Vandal. Ivo took one of the greatest American works of the 20th century and pretty much took a crap on it. If as a director you have the need to underscore two intermission-less hours (he took the liberty of removing the intermission from the script), then you have no idea what you're doing except doing a production to point at yourself, not the play. Everyone dressing the same takes away the uniqueness of the characters. The bare staging is more a distraction than anything else. And the climax in the, well I'd normally call it Act II but it's one act now, the second half which I won't ruin for those who are willing to suffer through it is on the verge of laughable. The only thing missing from this Ivo disaster would be to have TV cameras all around the stage. I'm glad the actors and crew got employed. That's all the good I can say for it. For those in the comments who are saying they don't have access to NT Live, let's just say I suffered through this abomination so you won't have to.

As others have said, NT Live venues aren't readily accessible - the one nearest to me is almost 300 miles away - I'd love to see some sort of streaming option, even if we have to pay for it. It breaks my heart how many NT Live productions I now miss out on because many movie theaters here in the US have stopped carrying it.

sadly the nearest movie theater showing these is 150 miles over a mountain pass. If it were on a good day I might consider making a few days away for it. I look forward to being retired when these timing issues as not a problem. Thank You NT for spoiling us with streaming content over these last few months. <3 <3 <3

I saw this live and then again at an NT live screening, what a spectacular production! Absolutely worth multiple viewings for the phenomenal acting and breathtaking set/effects!
