The Observatory Science Centre, Herstmonceux - Podcasts

2020 / 2021 had such a major impact on people, businesses, confidence and outlook that stories are emerging that will be retold for many years.
Being a tourist attraction with Charity status and an underlying ethos of offering science to everyone it was shocking that in March 2020 - we just stopped... With health and safety being key, the Observatory team were cautiously brought back to the site to prepare for reopening only to stop again later in the year. Getting back together with colleagues in 2021, after an enforced time apart created a space to share experiences, tell stories and embrace the importance of being a team. Appreciating the value of simply listening to each other was the ideal opportunity to move forward with the idea of creating podcasts.The saying that anywhere is only as successful as the team resonated - so we thought that we would take this opportunity to launch our first series of podcasts from The Observatory Science Centre, Herstmonceux the episodes being words by some of the team.
