SSD 860 EVO vs. SSD Kingston Game Loading Times + Installing Backup

Pft...26 seconds. Want to know how long GTA V takes to load on my 5,400RPM HDD?



I've watched this video twice now.....and it's still loading.

Spending twice price $ for only 2-3 second speed...for me its nnaaahhh....

Samsung king un lifespan and fidelity nobody can't touch them on SSD even NVME they are the best from mmy point of view since the Samsung ssd 830 and then 840 and then 850 and 850 pro THEY ARE THE KINGS.

Hahah Kingston was not cheap it was around 3400 for 240 gb in back 2019

No matter if it's a cheap SSD or an expensive one, at least the cheap SSD still performs better than a hard drive.

If you are on a budget, just buy an SSD with at least 240GB and use the rest for saving personal files and backups on an hard drive. Just use your hard drive as a secondary storage for backup files.

I bought 2 generic brand chinese 480gb dramless SSDs for 76€

Saved myself 60€ if i had bought 2 ssds with dram (65€ each)

no difference, dont be shy to choose the cheap option, just buy the expensive when u have some money or if u really need it

The 240Gb is slower compared to the 480Gb version, a quick online search would tell you that...

To me samsung comes with Migration adapter and software tools makes a clean tranfer from hdd to new samsung ssd im not sure if all samsung ssd come with transfer adapter but my 2TB did was very easy to do. Now my computer boots to desktop in 10 seconds and im gaming in 35 seconds, im loving it💎🤲

I noticed years ago ssds at any price all load games and boot the same they all the same no real difference better to get the cheapest cost at 1tb 500gb or any other size just get the cheapest

If you enable Rapid mode on the Samsung you will see the big difference

The A480 is faster vs the A240, I also notice the Samsung 860 a tad faster for loading stuff

SSD not getting 550MB read speed when tested on usb 3.0 which is slower than usb c. I checked internal samsung ssd 550MB read, 17sec load time shadow of the tomb raider, external usb 3.0 samsung 443MB read 17sec load time, HDD 160MB read(10% fill) 32sec. my 8TB HDD drops to 100MB read when 50% fill


also checked kingston 400 SSD 350MB read, 17 sec load time for shadow of the tomb!! so cpu and gpu bottlenecks <350MB somewhere
m.2 ssd is faster 1 sec cuz it loads data faster into cpu and gpu to process first sec so it loads 1 sec faster!!
