Was in the Dirt/Paving industry for 30+ years. Absolutely trash repair. The issue isn't the asphalt now, it's the base and probably the subgrade. This might extend the life a bit if it doesn't get much rain or traffic, but unless you get every crack in the area, and the base is dry this won't last a year. If it's all dry and you get all the cracks and it get's minor traffic and the patch material isn't to thick that it get's soft and sticky in the summer it will last a year mabye. But it will fail. Just repave it.

This is not a repair this is applying a Band-aid. A repair would be to remove the entire section and resurface it properly... like it should have been done in the 1st place when taxpayers paid for it. Hold the contractor accountable for shoddy workmanshit.

Good lord.. I was biting my nails. It took the pro damn near 2 solids minutes of gentle persuading to get the 'squeegee guy' (Harley) to spread that product thin. My dad would have been yelling at me at that point.

Having recently taken up cycling you notice potholes more and I reckon around my local area they would need thousands of barrels that big. It is shockingly dangerous
