Captain Fantastic
I liked the Captain Fantastic movie because it is about disciplined, talented, and experienced kids and their dad who teaches them skills and loves them. They go in a road trip to go to their mother’s funeral and try to help her complete her wishes, getting cremated. They also had lots of ups and downs. My favorite scenes were the funny and hilarious ones. One thing I have learned from the movie is it being a good thing of being a human which is a message a lot of people don’t get or get told. It basically means to enjoy and love your life. I have also learned the value of family and them having to stick together and work together.

Some flawed scenes in this movie with the writing.
If the family is so "anti-establishment" why does it show them thinking of killing farm animals for meat.
Shouldn't they all be vegetarian?

Was watching movie for the first time this morning until I realized this family of hotshot survivalists was brainwashed into ideologies responsible for the murder of tens of millions of Christians, and then some. But when I realized every point of view was tolerated except Christians, I shut it down. Imagine a Hollywood movie which promoted Nazism and taught the audience that everyone but Jews were worthy of respect. Soon the world will find out how tolerant things are without Christians.

Movie is a 10/10 ❤
Only thing is they made fun of Jesus, whom I love more than life. I can relate to the mom with postpartum depression and suicide ideology as I’m currently going through it. I pray I would never leave my child and husband behind. This movie is a great depiction of what it’s like to have everything this world has to offer and it’s still not enough. We are physical and spiritual beings. We’re super needy and need help from so many angles. I pray my husband has a listening ear and learns how to be of more help and that I never stop seeking it ❤

This movie made me feel stupid.

Okay, the father did screw up by choosing not to live close to his wife who had been in a hospital that took care of people with treatable mental disorders. That impacted the children more than the father knew. I just saw this movie for the first time a few days ago and watched it again. Very good movie but it also showed the flaws in the father's thinking regarding his and his wife's great children.

Power to the people :
