This is just so boring. Either MM changes form and does well on the Duc putting yet another Duc up on top, or he does terrible and wastes a seat for an up and coming talent. Literally no direction results in either Duc or the sport moving forward. If he was going to give up Honda it woulda been cool to see him try KTM or Aprilia. I personally expect him to have much better form on a better bike, likely even get a few podiums, but his worn out body isn't going to likely beat the top few right now regardless of bikes. This move 100% gets him relevant at least for podiums which I'm sure in MM's world is top priority right now. Let's all just be thankful he's off that Honda before he killed someone with all these crashes and taking out riders hahaha.

Merc doesn't look like he's trying, it's just proof that the 2021-23 Honda bike has reached its limits, rider and mechanics may have found the problem but can't find a solution. Honda may be a safe bike if driven safely like the Taka and Stefan, but if driven more competitively like Marc, Mir & Rin it's dangerous. Hopefully with new rider honda will develop the bike more from rider input not only from test rider

This is only testing where riders are testing new parts and most riders aren't riding at 100%. There is a long list of aggressive contenders who perform well under pressure that will make MM's life difficult in 2024. The days of gentlemen adversaries like Pedrosa, Dovizioso and Quartararo are gone. Remember Aragon 2021 when MM tried no less than 7 times to attack Pecco under braking and failed.

If Pecco wins next year, then he's an all-time great. Until he wons with the competition that's heading his way, he's not great, just good.
