Hello dear Greg,
I have a question to the plumbing set up. I am just about to do it for my truck.
I would like to see what the vents look for the hot and cold water … so I can picture it and where it could go … this would really help me.
I immensely appreciate it… if you get the chance. Thank you 🙏🥰❤️🚛
Perfectly explained, thankyou , so happy now I've seen this , I've watched about 10 and didn't quite understand it till now 💯🔥
ОтветитьTop man 👌🏼
ОтветитьCan you give me a link were I can get the filter same one you are using please
ОтветитьHi Greg great vid. Did you use standard taps i.e. domestic taps
ОтветитьGreat!
ОтветитьHi butty me again lol. I have copied your diagram and done exactly you said. If i turn the tap off on my boat should the pump stop and then restart when i open the tap. My pump dont turn off, and im frightened it's going to blow the system. Thanks for your help again.
ОтветитьGREAT VIDEO!!
ОтветитьAppreciate you taking the time to share your experience
ОтветитьSUBSCRIBED!!! Easily the worlds best van build videos! A few $$ are on its way through paypal. Do you have a web site with printed material?
ОтветитьHi Greg, we’ve gone the same way with a drinking water system but we find the Whale pump and that chrome tap blast the water at the sink at too high a rate. Did you have this issue and if so how did you throttle the flow slightly to make it a bit less fierce?
ОтветитьThanks for the helpful video!!
ОтветитьHi Greg I am considering fitting a 6500w electric tankless water heater to do the shower and kitchen, I have 3 x 200-watt solar panels and 3 x 170ah lithium batteries and the rest will be as per your off-grid system, will these panels and batteries power the water heater without being connected to a mains hook up? will the inverter and my system power this?
Thanks
Sam.
Thanks Greg your a star mate.
What hot water solution did you go for?
Hello, i have a question? I want to install my RV water system straight from my home water system. Is the water lines capable of holding home water pressure?
ОтветитьHey Greg,
Picking up where I left off on my conversion, moving slowly but hit a snag, I know you may be able to throw a little extra light on my dilema having seen you detail on similar topics. Knowing you have a Truma setup I thought I would ask as I seem to be going around in circles. I have a Truma 14 litre electric water heater boiler ready for fitting , I also purchased a Seaflo 42 series 12v diaphram water pump 3.8 Bar / 55PSI, fow rate 11LPM as I knew I would be supplying three outlets however the max pressure that can be used to operate this boiler is 2.8 Bar. The Seaflo 42 series water pump has the adjustable pressure switch and adjustable bypass, yet I am being told I need a 30PSI pump, not sure if thats entirely accurrate in my situation. I dont mind having to buy another pump but the reason I purchased the 42 series was to future proof should I have any changes or upgrades. I have heard a pressure reducer valve can be inserted into the feed line to the boiler but not sure this is a wise move or even using the pressure adjustment on the pump to meet the 2.8 Bar is the way forward
Sorry that was a tad tall, any advice is appreciated, love your work, thanks again 👌
👍Comprehensive, concise and logical.Many thanks.
ОтветитьYou are the best 😂😂😂. I just copied your electrical insulation and now I'm going to copy your water💪👍

ОтветитьHi Greg! With the 45psi shurflo water pump what do I need to set the accumulator tank pressure at ....Ty Hoping to hear from you TY
ОтветитьThank you! This was easy to follow! 🌸🌺🌸
ОтветитьEnjoy your video's, keep up the good work.
ОтветитьHey Greg, question about fitting the John guest fitting into your kitchen sink tap… what fittings do you use? I can’t seem to find a suitable John guest fitting to fit a kitchen faucet…
Cheers, great video
one of the best video i have seen , great detail
ОтветитьHi Greg! Love your videos :) Where did you get your tap from?
ОтветитьYou’re a legend man, thank you for all your work, you’re really awesome
ОтветитьHi Greg, I'm trying to find the video where you show how you swapped out the switch on your drinking water tap for a push button. Can't find it anywhere, which video was it in? And do you have a link for the tap itself? Thanks
ОтветитьYour an absolute legend 💪
Ответитьthank you sooooo much for your kind detailed explanations from South Korea.
ОтветитьI need to do this in my tiny home, and the way you teach and have diagrammed makes me less scared. I'm assuming you are in the UK and "john guest" in the US is called PEK system (?)
ОтветитьWhat a guy! Some much free inforamtion, well presented and easy to understand. Thank you
ОтветитьHi Greg, Thanks for all your help as always. Quick question: I have a switch for the power to the water pump. Is it ok to leave it switched on as long as there is water in the system? I ask because one time after leaving the van standing for a few days I noticed it was making a noise and vibrating. Thinking back I may have ran the water tank to empty without noticing and it was unable to make pressure however no attempt had been made to draw water.
ОтветитьSo you don't need a second pump for the hot water? It comes into the heater already pressurised?
ОтветитьThank you very much for the detailed diagram and explanation!! It has been very helpful in planning out my van build. I have one question. Did you add an on/off switch for the water pump?
ОтветитьThanks for the video Greg. I thought that the vent pipe on the filler cap connects to a breather pipe on the tank - is that wrong? I can’t work out what it does in your diagram if it goes nowhere
ОтветитьHi Greg thanks so much for your videos.. can I ask which water filler cap you went for and filter etc?
ОтветитьHave you had any issues with pulsing on that mixer tap
ОтветитьA zillion thank you's for taking the stress off with your straight and clear info. I know I can finish my little camper now thank you again 👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьHello. I'm starting to plan my own van build and I am cruising through your videos. They are the most informative and simplified videos out there. So thank you so much for the work you put into them.
I have a question regarding the hot water system - how does the pump work for the hot water? Does it pushes the water into the water heater and then pulls it out through the other tube?
Sorry if the question is a bit absurd, but I am from a non technical background, and it takes a while to understand!
Hi Greg, firstly great videos. I've watched a few now and they are simple but informative, unlike most of the other videos. I've got a quick question if you don't mind. In your opinion, what would be the best way to wire up the water pump, water heater and mixer tap/shower? P.S my van only has solar no mains if that makes a difference. Thanks.
ОтветитьHi Craig. I saw you are building another van, brilliant. My question is about water pump, I saw people use a switch for water pump!! It is really necessary? Many thanks and good luck in the new project 😊
Ответитьjust got to see these while I work out what I actually want to build or use. What about gravity feed? If I put my water tanks on the roof, couldn't I use gravity to bring the water down, no pump required, except to the get the water up there in the first place? Just an idea I had. But I've saved a few of your videos, quality stuff fella.
Ответитьwell explained video, can you tell me is there a stop /start on the pump automatically when pressure builds in the system. thank you
ОтветитьJust brilliant. So helpful. Thank you
