My smart meter will only show Green indicating low consumption irrespective of actual usage. The monetary display seems to be working as far as I can tell but the "traffic lights" aren't. I've tried unplugging and resetting but to no avail.
Any advice/ideas?

ОтветитьSince having my in house display and smart meter fitted on 20/06/2022 their house display has never worked even though I have had the display within 6 inches of the meter for a 1 hour period. Can I be sent a display that actually woks please

ОтветитьI've just had a Chameleon 3 smart meter installed...but there is no signal in my flat (electric box is downstairs of flats) ... is there anything i can do to boost the signal up here? Can i use Wi-Fi with it?

ОтветитьDon't make any sense at all. EDF energy are ripping everyone off. Apparently I have used 220 KWH in 1 month in June 😱
Compared to February and March when it was 🥶.
I used 72 KWH .
These smarters should be banned. As not to save you money...but to make money for EDF Scumbags😡

ОтветитьIt allowed me to top up electricity but not the gas for some reason.EDF says it may be the maintenance going on ,my gas will be on emergency by the end of the day 😫

ОтветитьAbsolute rubbish my gas disconnected Saturday tea was without gas for 24hours engineer had to come out to open gas valve and since then the idh nor the actual meter show gas usage or credit all they keep doing is sending me bloody videos to watch i know how the dam thing should work but it isnt😡😡😡

ОтветитьSmart meters aren't smart for you, they are smart for the energy companies with their "dynamic tarrifs". It means they are actually fining you for using certain appliances at certain times. But people have fallen for it. We refused to have one and while everyone else's energy bills are going up, ours are going down massively. Go figure.
ОтветитьShocking response from EDF. It is February 2022 and there are tens of thousands of us across the country with broken and unconnectable IHDs and EDF do fuck all about it. They have customer disservice chimps with poor English skills and a script to follow and all they do is send out a new IHD. The problem is the meter which keeps beeping. Refer to your app and track your usage that way is their final reply. I'm moving suppliers next month. Shocking (pun intended) company
ОтветитьI had my smart meters fitted this morning 26/01/2022 with the Chameleon 3 display. However, all it's showing me is the electricity being used but no information regarding my Gas usage. Even when following the instructions on getting my display to show Gas usage or both nothing is being shown other than electricity usage? Has anyone got any suggestions?
ОтветитьInstalled two months ago and it's stopped working already. Says "Waiting for current data" permanently. I waited indoors for two days for this to be fitted and they disconnected an old system I was already using. All in all, avoid.

ОтветитьEDF are telling me to get one, don't see why don't have a smartphone and perfectly fine with my prepay meter. Don't see why I should get a smartphone contract costing me an extra £40 a month just to get electricity, what a stupid idea.

ОтветитьThis meter was sent out to me from EDF and very much like the comments here it would not connect. They sent someone out who advised that the meter needed re-booting. This took about 4 months for someone to come and do this, but in the meantime I wrote a very strong customer complaint email and sent it to EDF. Much to my surprise I got a reply from one of the managers who assured me that she would be dealing with this. It took another month or so but finally it was up and running and has worked fine ever since. If something does not work, complain as much as you can whether it be email or letter because they have to reply.
