Wow that's handy to know. Last time i took my kinds to Florida was in 2018. And I picked up a mobile phone in Walmart. Where keeping are🤞 we get to go this September and hopefully thay ended the covid restrictions. I will take a look for the mobile shop. Where abouts was that in international drive. Hotel is going be close to wonderworks.

Honeymooned in Florida in 98, back in 2000, then with the kids in 2013, loved it but not sure if I would want to live there?

Surprised I didn’t see at least one dude on a dirtbike or hear one in the background of the vid😂 if you tried to film this on a Friday at night we would’ve been deep 100+ dirtbikes and quads

Just back, stayed in coco keys water park, loved it and so did the kids, unfortunately won't be going back, just far too expensive. My one peace of advice is to go to walmart atleast once and buy stuff from there, pretty much half the price than walgreens on Idrive

We first went to Florida (from the UK) in 1986 and International drive even then was like walking though Benidorm and it has not improved. We have been back many times, last time 4 years ago, we had a villa near the parks but we went to I drive to see if it had changed but apart from the upper end where the conv center is driving down to the other end and it is still full of eateries and gift shops and outlet malls, its so tacky but it kinda works.

Quick question. If staying on international drive and only visiting the Disney parks, do I need a car? Or is it possible to just use the hotel shuttles to the parks and walk international drive for food. Thanks

Stayed in a Marriott low-rise type hotel on I-Drive back in maybe 1989 with my family, I don't recognise any of this lol! Not really surprising I guess. All I remember is there being a MacDonalds nearby, but nothing like that one.

So many memories. My last visit was September 2005, so much has changed. Icon Park was The Mercado, used to live going there at night. The building closed down I think was Ponderosa,great memories of first going there in 1998,first time I had ever been to a buffet,great memories.

We stayed in the avanti sept prior to the pandemic, 4/10 and that upper part of idrive is a bit in need of investment and attention, chap followed me trying to get money off me, felt safer on other parts of idrive 👍🏽🇺🇸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

An attraction you were only feet away had a tragic accident recently. Our hearts go out to the family whose loved-one died on the vertical drop on International Drive days after you showed us the attraction.

Last time we went to Perkins was in 2016 and it was lovely. Longhorn Steakhouse is also a favourite of ours

The Americans are backwards, they name their game after a game that's already named worldwide in which the ball is mainly carried in their hands so they call it football. They should call it sockya

i have been to orlando 8 times the last time 2010 , international drive was tacky then now it still looks tacky and run down and bloody expensive

Brought back memories of past trips to Orlando!
I remember staying on I Drive for a short time, then mainly in Kissimmee, the rest.
I remember along the (better) part of I Drive you would see pedestrians walking, but mainly everyone went by car.
First time I went to Florida I fell in love with the place, and visiting places like Disney and Universal, wow, what a fantastic experience, especially for the young ones. Shame Wet n Wild shut down and remember many a meal at Ponderosa, especially enjoying the buffet brekkies.
Anyone else go to Gatorland, St. Petes, Busch Gardens, Sea World, Kennedy Space Centre?😄
The first trip we even drove down to the Keys, what a wonderful place Key West was to stay in.
All in all the trips there were magical, and so much fun! Glad we had the opportunity to do it while we could.
