Which one of these items do you think is the best deal? Comment below!!
ОтветитьOur Costco gets 20 lb. propane cylinders with a built-in gauge, great if you need a spare or a replacement, also a great price. Always seasonal.
ОтветитьWhat size of clear bins do you take with you on camping trips? Did you get the regular IRIS bins or the IRIS wearherpro bins?
ОтветитьThe lamp is great, took that on my last trip to Zion. It takes 4 D cell batteries and also has built in rechargeable batteries that can be charged with the included micro usb cable (or solar). Agree on the red light though
ОтветитьThey have great car camping tents! I got a really huge 10-person CORE cabin tent last year on sale for a steal of a price and now we can glamp in the lap of luxury. It unfolds and extends, so takes like two minutes to set up and take down. I’m a bit more discriminating with my backpacking gear, but for car camping, Costco stuff is fantastic. Also look for camping chairs, screen houses, and canopies.
ОтветитьOne of these days, i will just buy one of these really nice yeti coolers, expensive, but once i have one it'll last me forever
ОтветитьThe igloo IMX cooler is a steal. Almost $100 off
ОтветитьI live in alberta Canada and my Costco does not have the bear spray in Alberta you have to sighn a waver and they want proof of identity when you buy bear spray at sporting goods store!!
Ответитьoh and anything with a * or ends in .97 is on sale and we are not getting anymore shipments till next season.
ОтветитьGreat content. See ya
ОтветитьI bought 2 similar Lanterns at Costco last year. They are great! A little too bright but if I hang one up over camp table it is great. I still have my propane Lanterns but these are fast and very useful.
ОтветитьOh I hope they have that lantern at my local Costco, it would make a perfect gift for my tent camping granddaughter. Also the bear spray since she goes on a yearly camping trip near Glacier Park in Montana. I always warn her about the grizzlies!
ОтветитьIf you want the long lighters, wait until Menards has them on sale, the Costco ones aren't refillable. Even cheaper if you wait for the 11% sale.
ОтветитьThat lantern is definitely a good buy! Not to mention those bins. We camp in a 5th wheel most of the time, but try to choose more wilderness areas for that, so having a good lantern to use outside instead of relying on electricity is a good thing.....
ОтветитьMy Costco has tents!
ОтветитьWhich location is this? My Costco doesn’t have the stuff mentioned in the video except for the lantern, band-aids, cooler and bins.
ОтветитьMy wife and I are members of Costco and BJs. BJs is much closer to us than Costco so I almost aways shop at BJs.
BJs also offers decent quality camp gear at good prices. I bought a pop-up 6 person tent (really 4 person) for $100.
We have used it several times and it keeps us dry when it rains. Just buy a 9'x9' heavy duty (9 mil) tarp to put down first.
I'm tempted to buy their cot, but am fine sleeping on an air mattress since I backpack often.
Lots of great finds! Cheap bear spray, too! Wow. 😊🐻🐾
ОтветитьThe Duracell Lamps are awesome. Got 3 of them. Costco needs more camping gear.
Not a fan how expensive Yeti’s or RTIC’s are when igloo, Coleman, and other brands can get the job done for a weekend. Just get a strap to keep any lid closed.
Or better yet buy a huge cooler and put another cheap one in it. Achieves the same result.
Wish Costco sold the duel gas Coleman stoves. Much prefer those over propane. Got my hands on a 425F 1988 in near mint condition.
Man I love Costco. One of the most adult moments in my life was getting a Costco membership 😅
ОтветитьGood video Amanda ! Thank you for this video. PS. how did Nick do during elk season ? THANK YOU FRANK FROM MONTANA.....
ОтветитьI broke a trekking pole last year and just replaced the set with a set from Costco. Very interested to see how they fare this year. They were only $35!
ОтветитьFor some reason my Costco in Austin doesn’t have bear spray. 😂
But they’ve definitely been dabbling more in the overland/RV camping world. Locking storage bins, blackstone griddles, compact camp chairs, etc.
That Coleman stove looks really nice & $70 seems reasonable now. I bought one 20 years ago & it’s still going strong! My Dad still has his; it’s probably 50 years old…
Ответитьcoffee for U!
ОтветитьWe have an order version of the lantern and it works very well. Also, the lighters are the best price anywhere. The 2 lights in the pack that have bended tips are perfect for lighting the stove during wind. We are getting ready to purchase a few shelving units for our basement, so I may look into the ones you mentioned and get the bins that go into them. Great finds! Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьThe variety of bins is great! The next time they have the snap lids with the foam "gasket" I gotta buy extra for additional storage needs. I agree clear bins are best for camp. I also scored a 13x13 Coleman pop-up last summer. It's great and highly recommeneded.
ОтветитьNo Costcos in my neck of the woods but I liked the lighters and the first aid kit. I've added a portable power station to my equipment and have made the transition to a 12v fridge - no more ice.
Ответитьunfortunately there is not a Cosco close to me. I went to one in the Metroplex with my children and will never go to a big one again. We walked into the door and there were over 30 people waiting at EACH register. My children talked me into staying as I was who wanted to go to one. I do not like big crowds. LOL
ОтветитьI'm a member of BJs here in New Jersey (not sure if your area has a BJs but it's similar to Costco). Immediately, when I saw your video intro, I thought of a lantern I purchased at BJs last year and ironically, your first item was a lantern. 😆 I love mine, it's very bright and has several levels of brightness. Great video and information. Some great finds! It did make me think I should be member of Costco as well. 😆
ОтветитьThey also sell great tents, cots, air mattress & more!
ОтветитьLocking lid on bin is a must if you keep it outside the vehicle. Racoon proof. Igloo best buy !
Ответитьgreat video and info. i don't have a membership to Costco but might think about it now. i like the rechargeable lanterns. i seem to go threw too many batteries when i camp. the igloo cooler seems like a good price. i have a 50 RTIC cooler and love it. i wouldn't mind having an extra.
