Topwater swimbaiting: 9'' MS Slammer

It's post spawn here in Washington and the females are slowly re-charging and getting into summer pattern. We've had a good 2 months of 75-85 degree sunny days. This was the first rain in a while so I waited until the bulk of the system passed to go fish for 3 hours. I spent the first hour throwing the 6'' Black Dog Injected Lunker Plunker. No signs of fish. I think my 3rd cast I finally hooked up my first MS Slammer fish. I hooked and lost a solid 5+ largie. She smacked it pretty good and popped off when she made a quick turn. I was a little upset after that but the bites kept coming. I was shocked to see 1 1/2 - 2 lbers were creaming this swimbait! No big fish on film but it was a fun trip and I have a new found sense of confidence in the 9'' MS SLAMMER. Tight lines guys!! Ryan Perrey out-
