ОтветитьWhat if you don't care about capital appreciation and only care about generating the weekly income? Would weeklys be ok then?
ОтветитьWhy not just sell verticals? If you hold to expiry you receive the full premium or you can buy it back at 50% profit.
ОтветитьIt's not about watching videos and wasting your time on strategies, I was ignorant doing so...so I decided to try Philip and ever since then he's has made about $19,000 for on every $5,000 I invested just in 2weeks
Ответитьinteractive broker says when selling covers calls, its separate transaction and the option sale has to covered separately and cost of the call is much higher then then the price sold?
Ответитьi somewhat disagree with the out of the money covered calls. you have to make your contracts attractive to call buyers. whose buying way out of the money stocks? so why sell way out of the money calls to expect someone to buy them?

ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьHmm not sure, what is a good time to exit a covered call, let it expire or buy back?
ОтветитьGreat video. Very clear and easy to understand. I have a quick question. For a buy and hold portfolio, what strategy would you use in a Bear Market other than just sit it out till market recovers..
ОтветитьSo could one buy a leap call option expiring 6 months later and then sell multiple short term short calls with weekly of monthly expiration??
Ответитьyes

ОтветитьBest explanation of how to sell covered calls I've read. Awesome job!
ОтветитьGood program! Can you make the header freeze on the top when user move down the page of Covered Call Report??
ОтветитьHi .. really like Tony Zang's webinars. Sometimes he will make available the slides from his webinars for download. Where can I find the slides for this and other webinars ? Thanks.
ОтветитьI sold weekly call on vde and it was called away but it went way up I sold call 78 now is 93
ОтветитьPeloton is definitely the wrong stock for such a strategy. What would have happened if you had bought the stock for $80? She is now at $25...taken a mini premium and a huge loss in stock!!! This strategy only makes sense with low-vola-stocks, otherwise, the stock risk far exceeds the chance of profit.
ОтветитьHow and when can covered call be assigned?
You can never get assignment on covered calls?
When you explain the concept one feel like listening to it. Great explanation
ОтветитьTo be honest, I am looking for a way to earn dividend for life and willing to take a little risk. I hope covered calls options is the one and I prefer to write covered calls options using indexes.
Ответитьvery nice and simple to understand presentation,
do you have video spx 0dt spread strategy?
What is average income I can potentially make selling covered calls? Starting with $5000-$10,000 capital?
Ответить4, makes total sense. Unique content. I've been paying 1000nds in Europe for similar content, and not as kwoledgeable. Teach me.
ОтветитьSir you really helped me and opened my eyes. I am down on some stocks but they have high implied volitility. YOur advice on 45 days out is what opened my eyes . I can still be above my cost average with the CC. (45 days out) and make some good money back over time. Mara and riot
ОтветитьGiven covered calls are completely unsuitable for most managed accounts, how can you possibly recommend a synthetic naked put as the best income strategy? Disclosure: I watched less than two minutes of this. If there is a specific spot where you address such, please refer me to it.
ОтветитьWhy is 45 days optimal?
ОтветитьI’m new to options trading but not investing and I’ve watched many many how to do options and this one video was better than the others combined for this particular subject. Ty
ОтветитьFantastic thank you
ОтветитьFor getting good net credit...is it best to roll out for same or higher strike price a covered call that's DITM nearing expiry, when stock is going down?
I'm noticing that we get good premium on a red day
Than a green day for stock.
Pls advice thx
Wow i have heard so much about options and wanting to learn it, this video indeed helped to give me an idea, for newbies that are just starting off with little cash, how could one learn more ? Do you havr other videos of the basics that i could watch. Thanks for your help just subscribed to your channel
ОтветитьGood job but to complicated for me !
ОтветитьNo criticism intended. PTON, I own it now. I bought it between 10-15. Wow, it was over 80 when you made this video!
Thank you. These are good presentations. I sell calls all the time. I just guess the so-called delta, etc. Not too difficult. I set the strike price so I don't care if they take the shares, usually. Unfortunately, many of my holdings were killed in 2021-2022, and I have to be careful selling calls with the strike price way below what I paid.
I actually combine your thought process with maximizing income. I buy 200 shares at a time and immediately sell 1 month end CC for the next higher strike price to maximize my income for the month. The other CC is sold at the 15 Delta to capture the gain in the stock while collecting some premium. It is the best of both ideas!
ОтветитьTaking early notes from Warren as to the importance of sound asset diversification and risk management It can’t be overstated. I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $300K for sometime now, I would greatly appreciate any other suggestions.
ОтветитьWhy not just link up with the broker into your platform?
