i want to watch a unscripted video of Clint interacting with his pets for like 3 hours. just how excited and happy he is with them makes me so very happy.
ОтветитьArboreal and orbital
ОтветитьIn15 minutes you could save 15% or more on day geckos with the promo from Josh’s frogs. Perfect missed plug 😂😂
ОтветитьA yromaxcixs
ОтветитьCould you do a video on the best lizards that can be kept mostly on crested gecko diet?
ОтветитьDude it's Gex
ОтветитьI need a video on yellow headed geckos pleeeeaaasssee
Ответитьthat moment when its sooo tiny the camera wont even focus on it. Its sooooooo cute, ill watch but as much as i like them its so tiny im terrified something will happen. To those of you who have these amazing little bundles of energy i salute you and hope you enjoy them!
Ответитьive kept this gecko with green Anole, green tree frog, fresh water crab and Betta all together.. he was smallest but very wise and was never in the wrong place at the wrong time..
ОтветитьClint can you make a video of a top5 geckos
ОтветитьEverything is a risk. Even having them in their enclosure!!! I had a lizard break it's back inside its enclosure, and I still have no idea how. It was really tragic.
Ответитьwould they enjoy a waterfall feature/small pond? i’m building a paludarium
Ответить@clintsreptiles I’m not sure if you have made a video like this but was wondering if you wouldn’t mind. A video talking about the reptiles and amphibians that are able to reproduce Asexually or through parthenogenesis? If not I understand no worries
ОтветитьCan these be kept in a paludarium?
ОтветитьYou'd never believe someone if they told you this exists, you'd have to see it. A lizard with iridescent highlighter stripes, 1960s bathroom tiles legs, and black crystaline stripes, nah, you're high. But there it is.
ОтветитьI know this is old but the electric blue day gecko puts the neon to shame! Would be cool to see you take a look into them
ОтветитьCan you please do a video about electric blue day geckos
ОтветитьCan we get a follow up episode on these little guys?
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your experience with these amazing little lizards! After hearing that you never see em in pet shops, I feel very fortunate to have seen some in person at my local reptile store!
ОтветитьSorry, could you tell the size of this terrarium for neon geckos please?
ОтветитьThey are so beautiful and I never knew they existed until now! Thank you!
It's such a shame I don't dare get any of those beauties. I have cats, so if such beautiful and tiny creatures escaped the cats would probably just see a tiny little toy/snack package, and that would just be too sad to risk.
they are very awesome geckos. sadly, I have had almost no good interactions with josh's frogs in a very long time. every time I have ordered bugs from them somethings messed up, which sucks because they are one of the few who have a good variety of the feeder insects I like to use and because shipping on insects gets expensive. the worse thing is when they have something available like 100 crickets and 4 fruit fly cultures on their website but then after you order they don't actually have FF, so you pay shipping then you just get 100 crickets and no FF. and no call to say, "hey we didn't have that do you want to pay like $16 to for 1/5th of your original order?" like I really needed fruit flies and didn't find out that they were not sending them until I got my package without them and had to call. the first 6 years or so of dealing with them was always great but the last couple years every order but one has been messed up. either incomplete or sent the wrong order. customer service has not been helpful. it makes we wonder if Josh Willard is still actually running the place. anyone else having problems from them lately?
ОтветитьI would argue that the most scientific species of gecko is called...critter 😂
ОтветитьI bought a gecko from my neighbor when I was like 12. I went to scout camp (I've made like an infinity of those at scout camp) and when I came back my dad had made it disappear. I don't even want to know what he did with it but he is dead now too so I don't need to know. It really made me mad though. Who the hell just kills animals? I'm pretty sure he just flushed it down the toilet. F**** disgusting
ОтветитьDear Clint, I started with 3 of these amazing species! but now i only have 1 left!! is it possible they eat each other? I have a big enclosure for them ( 1m by 80cm by 40 cm) but now i can only see one! :(
ОтветитьWOW! Just Look at that outfit!
Ответитьthose little guys are straight up beautiful, damn I want one now
ОтветитьMe and my partner keep phelsuma dorsivittatas and phelsuma laticaudas but we definitely won't stop collecting phelsumas because OH MY GOD THEY ARE PERFECT! Lizards in general don't have the reputation of a genius, which is pretty understandable (still love them) but thinking about these guys as silly little geese would be so unfair. I really can't put this into other words, I think they are intelligent, social creatures.
Just a few of the things our day geckos do:
-They will run to the glass and stare at us the moment they spot us misting/feeding the other terrariums. Almost as if they count the seconds we take till we get to them, and they can be super impatient about feeding/drinking!
-If they are thirsty, they try to get our attention, and when we are finally looking at them, they stare at the misting spray.
-They like to watch us going about our day
-They accept gecko diet from hand (finger, technically)
-They care for their bonded pair. We had to move the laticauda pair into another terrarium, which was easy to do with the female, but the male really made us nervous because he managed to hide under the backside of the terrarium, and we couldn't get to him (nor convience him to leave) for hours. At the middle of the moving, we had to stop the whole process, because it started to stress him out too much, and we didn't want to cause him harm. So when we finally could move him to his new place, we were absolutely relieved and delighted, for like 1,5 seconds. After 1,5 seconds the female ran up to the male, and for a moment we got scared bc what if the female already thinks of the new terrarium as her territory, and she wants to chase off the male. What happened instead, is the female put one of her foot on her pair, almost as a hug, and started licking him. She licked the dirt off of him, there was no biting, no chasing, it really seemed like she was making sure he is okay. She even put a hold on exploring their new habitat, and hid in one of the bambus rods with him for a couple of hours. I've never seen geckos do anything like that. I'm not saying it's 100% an empathy and social behaviour, maybe a gecko expert could analys it better, but until then, I fully believe the female recognised her pair, and that he was stressed, and she took care of him in the best way day geckos can..by licking, lol!
Anyway, sorry for any grammatical mistakes, English isn't my native language, but I hope what I typed made sense still
My dad got his williamsi and klemmeri off of Josh's frogs, really good guy and he got some of his dart frogs off of him too
Ответитьfire skink. boom
ОтветитьHow did a literal fish get a higher handleability rating than a lizard that he was holding for the whole video?
ОтветитьCould you have more neon day geckos in this exact enclosure they provided? You made it sound like it was pretty big for them. I'm curious about how many you could ethically, with space to thrive have in there or if it should only be two. Another female or a second pair would be really neat. Seeing them climb all over, standing out against that bamboo! I want them right now!
ОтветитьThe Gecko Videos are great to learn from. You seem to Handle most well to
ОтветитьThe country max I work at had a Cameroon dwarf gecko, very similar in look and size that I just bought!
ОтветитьFind someone that looks at you like this guy looks ar neon day geckos
ОтветитьThanks for another fantastic video :)
I have a "question"/suggestion and that is that You would if possible add some short information about how "social" the "pet" You are "demonstrating" is. And by that I don't mean "social" towards its handler, but rather how good or bad idea it is to have more than one individual sharing an enclosure. Now I can understand that it almost by default is "off the table" with the larger ones, but for smaller ones (like this gecko) I could well see how You would like to, if suitable, have more than one sharing an enclosure. This might also brings up the subject of if the "sociability" differs between the males and females, and how You can/should match them if You decide to have more than a single one.
Just a thought.
Best regards.
They're looking around just like birds, that's so adorable!
ОтветитьMandarin dragonets can compete with the beauty
ОтветитьI realize this video is a little older and things have probably changed, but I recently contacted Josh's Frogs to get ideas and products for what I'd need for my corn snake's bioactive enclosure (she's been in a glass box with an inch of Aspen shavings and 2 hides for about 10 years) as she's nearly 17 and I want her last years to be as comfortable as possible. The person who responded to my email said she's not even halfway through her life because corn snakes can live "well over 40 years." This is just false. The longest recorded corn snake life was 32 years and 3 months. When I called to speak to someone to find out why someone would say that, they didn't offer to train that person on the most basic starter snake's lifespan, instead they defended her by saying just because 32 years is the longest recorded doesn't mean they can't live longer... Which is true technically but a corn snake's average lifespan in captivity is still only about 23 years, so 17 is nearing the end of that, not less than halfway to it.
I will never give that company my business. I'm glad they've been of use to you, but they have no idea what they're talking about about.
Williamsi is the only one I know to put them to shame with there Gorgeous Blues 😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥🙌🏼
ОтветитьCan you please do a video on the bluetailed day gecko
ОтветитьThey’re so cute
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьI got one today!
ОтветитьLionel Messi is an awesome footballer, but is he THE best footballer in the world? For availability, we give Lionel Messi a score of 1 out of 5. There is just one of him - he is unique and extremely difficult to sign. For upfront costs, we give Messi 1 out of 5. He is in extremely high demand and hence expensive. All in all, we give Lionel Messi a football score of 2 out of 5. In general, Lionel Messi is not the right footballer for most people. But if what you want is a football player who is awesome at scoring goals and also super expensive and almost impossible to sign, then Lionel Messi just might be the perfect footballer for you.
Ответитьi only know one lizard prettier and that’s the sphaerodactylus rosorae bay island least gecko i have some they’re like a day gecko times 10
