Just googled what happened t this company, seems Touker's "you've lost your money" was right.

If you want launch an E-Commerce a common strategy is to invest 2-4M$ in 3-4 years in marketing (TV advertisement, radio, influencers, SEO etc), please remember that these companies don't have costs like salesmen or shops! At the end of this marketing-jouney you should have a profitable company with a well-known brand that big groups want purchase for big moneys. If you fail you literally burn a huge capital, that's why it's common to use the money of the investors!

Touker is garbage. "I'd do that in 4 days in my website", well, you're NOT pitching right now, are you? His business is not your business old man.

If it was an advertisement pitch, it was the worst ad I've ever seen.

Touker has always been my favourite. Always sad to see how entrepreneurs avoid him and go for the more "cooler" dragons or the long established PJ. Touker really knows his stuff. he'd be my preferred dragon anyday.

Big businesses IF successful can turn your life around significantly but it can also take you to the cleaners. A self employed business can most of the time keep you happy and earning enough to feed you and your family whilst doing it on your own terms with time to spare with your family. If you're frugal you can also get rich but at a much slower pace.

I know this is reviving an old video, but with Touker's offer I'd have diluted my share from 42% to 2%, offered him my 40%, with a buy-back option after 100% of the money is returned or within 5 years, whichever is soonest, and flip it back to 5% for Touker. That'd have been my counter-offer. It's not much to retain, but it would get a valuable asset on board.

He looked pleased when they said im not investing so yeah he was just there to advertise.
