Hi Mike! Thanks for the video, it was great! I updated the perma link & menu button for the new url but now instead of taking me directly to the pdf (i.e. opening the doc) I am taken to the attachment page? is there any way to have the pdf open and bipass this attachment page?
ОтветитьThis has been really helpful and works for most of my media file permalinks but for some reason, even when the slug changes, some of my permalinks have things like ?attachment_id=1715 on them. Do you have any idea how to solve this? I've been using All in One SEO and checked all options to redirect attachments, redirect to parent page and don't allow redirects and none of them worked - I can't even tell if that's relevant anymore :/
ОтветитьTHANK YOU MIKE! This was so helpful. You're the man.
ОтветитьThanks a lot man!
ОтветитьHi Mike, did you end up figuring out how to install a plugin (as you advised the guy below) to change not only the slug, but the date behind the slug, in the link? I critically (for professional reason) need to upload a new PDF to an old link. The old link has the date 2021/02 behind the slug, and I can't figure out how to change that.
ОтветитьAmazing video, thank you!!
