Kindness Is... (YMCA Project Cornerstone Collaboration)

Life Vest Inside is honored and touched to partner with Project Cornerstone, an initiative of the YMCA of Silicon Valley, whose mission is to ensure all youth grow up feeling valued, respected, and known.

Project Cornerstone’s unique programs and services create safe schools and communities, build healthy relationships between youths and caring adults, and help youth to cultivate the social and emotional life skills they need to thrive.

In essence, Project Cornerstone lives and nurtures kindness simply by fulfilling its mission.

Kindness is the key to survival, like a life vest, it keeps the world afloat. It can come in any form. In the form of a smile, a kind word, a helping hand, or just being there to listen. In fact, it's the seemingly small acts of kindness that have an extraordinary impact on ourselves and the world at large.

And so we went out and asked the Project Cornerstone community to share, “What kindness means to them?” and “How they show kindness in their daily lives?”
