The evidence is of moderate quality. We were unable to identify any randomised controlled trials that tested the effect of long‐term daily use of cocoa products on blood pressure, and there were no trials that measured the health consequences of high blood pressure, such as heart attacks or strokes.
ОтветитьI use citrulline and cocoa for mine
ОтветитьIs this just a video about this woman’s friends and family? She says ‘like’ wayyy too often and the tsking sound in the mic is annoying.
ОтветитьEndurance athlete, Lift 5 days a week. Blood pressure is always in the 140's . No supplements recommend helped. Had to go on blood medicine to get it down.
ОтветитьTMG lowers homocysteine. Rebounding (mini trampoline) is a great way to improve health. DYOR
ОтветитьI usually do my blood pressure check semi relaxed in the morning. My Zen time 😅 it’s only last about five minutes what I have not done is to check it twice a day
ОтветитьThe problem with Rhonda is that she thinks that everyone is fit or healthy enough to exercise, where as most of people having sugar or diabetes are bit heavy, old, or having some sort mobility issues or injuries, or those who have long covid or other chronic health issues are NOT ABLE (HIIT) exercise. (Full Stop)
ОтветитьWhen I see my doc I take my BP cuff in to compare to the docs. I think everyone should do the same.
Ответитьwhat happened to beet juice proselyting? Has that fallen out of favor and if so, why?
ОтветитьHypertension has always been above 140/90 mmHg which was backed by decades of data. Then things started to change and the bar was set lower. I wonder why? More people on meds for certain people to make more money perhaps?
ОтветитьI am 26v old. I have 132/64 with 67 pulse. Is that ok?
ОтветитьIm one of those lean fit dudes with hypertension, drives me cray.
ОтветитьHeavy Metals play a role too coffee , anxiety stress. VasqFlow helped my late dad reduce blood pressure despite him having aggressive blood pressure when his meds didnt reduce a thing
ОтветитьThe Nitrates in the grren smoothie, does that convert into Nitric Oxide (NO) ??
ОтветитьTalking talking talking we still don’t know more than 20 years ago
ОтветитьDo you take the blood pressure on the left or right arm, I would like to know that fact.
Ответитьrunning marathons is healthy?? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 sure, damaging your arteries and dying of cortisol every week. LOTS of runners get heart disease. hmmm.
ОтветитьI have Hashimotos and take Synthroid, which caused my BP to go up. I have tried to get off the BP meds, but that got me a trip to the ER. HELP
ОтветитьWhat? Hey PA - You indicate BP testing on your Right arm, but EVERYONE says to use the LEFT ARM. And your glass of water is in the way of any view of where you're indicating as the correct position of the cuff. What the heck?
ОтветитьI’m 70 and my 73 brother just had a scare. Thought it was a stroke initially. High blood pressure lowered overnight in hospital. No permanent damage. On meds now. Apparently, he was keeping his blood pressure in check through exercise and diet for most of his life.
ОтветитьA video I watch suggest 90% of high blood pressure is low potassium levels
ОтветитьThe overstimulation he's referring to seems spot on. I believe it's my biggest hurdle to a "normal" reading.
Ответить41 years old…110/70, not having a wife and kids helps…low carbs/lots of meat 🫢
ОтветитьPotassium and Vitamin D and medication
ОтветитьAND POTASSIUM.
ОтветитьFor me what instantly fixed my avg of 130/82 was intermittent fasting and reducing healthy carbs(quinoa, lentils, starchy veggies). I've always eaten really clean, am very fit and lean, minimize stress, etc...but insulin issues run in my family and it was quietly creeeping up. I am now at an average of 110/68 and the only thing I changed was reducing meal frequency from 3 to 2 and reducing starchy vegetables and grains. Insunlin plays a major role in blood pressure
ОтветитьI never bought into the 120/80 is for everyone. Whether you’re 5, 15, 45 or 75. Male or female.
ОтветитьRealize that spokesman for medical issues are heavily involved with making money from promoting vaccines and medications. As in the Pandemic doctors are compensated in various ways for what they prescribe and promote.
ОтветитьI remember when I talked about my amazingly low blood pressure. Then I turned 60... she'll catch UP 😊
ОтветитьMy hypertension is so bad already lost 40 pounds are taking pills and it won't go down
ОтветитьWhy does he hate the term "lifestyle factors"?
ОтветитьI am one of those people I have lost weight 53 pounds and changed my diet and I exercise with weights and Treadmill 5 days a week and still my blood pressure is still a little high
ОтветитьThis like woman like needs to like say like less
ОтветитьPeter looks quite uncomfortable in that chair back. He’s really jammed in there with his frame.
ОтветитьRhonda no doubt discusses interesting topics with interesting guests. But there is a lot of room for improvement. In my view question should be formulated clearly and succinctly without branching and surely without multiply ‘like’s.
ОтветитьRhonda refers to cocoa flavonoid supplementation - is there evidence on a best-in-class supplements to look for and ideal intake ? Thank you if anyone can help
Ответить120/80? One size fits all? This counts for every human being on the planet? Young, old? Man, woman? Etc. ?
ОтветитьLike like like like 😬
Because Peter is so articulate it really highlights Rhonda’s excessive use of filler words making it frustrating to listen to her
Having said that still great information from both
Great video, what about high arr ratio, which can couse high BP. Why nobody talks about that. Anyone has this experience.
ОтветитьThere are no mention of nitric oxide. Exercise.
ОтветитьPotassium, garlic, black cumin oil
ОтветитьI guess I'm doing it right. I'm Keto, eat sugar free chocolate, and mountain bike in the glorious Heat of Southern Arizona summers.
ОтветитьBeets!?
ОтветитьAll people do not fit into a set number. The recommendations of 140/90 was fine, no reason to lower that except for big pharma, so they can make more money.
ОтветитьBzzzz! Running marathon is not healthy. Jump on the deadlift platform and get you cardio that way, plus all the myriad of other benefits related to weight training. I’m 63 and 180bpm isn’t uncommon for me, when doing battle with the deadlift bar.
ОтветитьAre you saying there is no genetic effect on blood pressure. My father’s was low my mom’s high. Both ate the same and exercised the same. Mine is 115 over 65. My brother is on mds for high blood pressure. He exercises and eats better than me
ОтветитьI wish i could afford to have Peter as my Dr
