I hate that he calls these "fundamentals" which gives the viewer the false sense that these are basic and easy-to-learn skills. In reality these skills take hundreds of hours of playing on high alert, putting as much though as possible into everything you do, and these videos fool you into thinking this laning phase knowledge and awareness improves your winrate by much if even you lack knowledge on how to correctly do objectives and close out a game, not to mention fooling you into thinking that champions don't matter and that certain matches really have the outcome settled in champion select. This game is stupidly difficult to learn and you shouldn't let people like this make you think there's just 1 simple trick to make you win.

I learned this through the support role - as long as you understand the job of a support and what you need to be looking for, almost anything works. Blue Kayn, Ornn, Zoe, Naafiri, Zeri, Taliyah, Kai’Sa, Quinn, Akshan, Syndra, Akali, Ryze, Jarvan, Udyr are all champs I’ve had success with in silver-plat ranked games. Ofc your adc thinks “troll” right away cause you are not nami lulu or senna, but when you end up handfeeding them kills by level 2 they kinda get over it.

idk this is a bad example sadly, sion doesnt care for laning, sion also struggles against all ranged match ups no matter wich champ it is. Sion actualy wants to die alot in this lane because renata cant utilize the gold well. So every death by sion is actualy worth alot as long as he takes wave in passiv or gets tower dmg in. Late game even if you build ad or ap you still very weak and forced to play a support role while sion got a free lane and multiple towers and cs.

My man didn't even got a CS lead with a range top against a tank. Toplane is easy, learn to freeze, climb master, and sell some courses. Weirdly enough, those kind of coaches don't exist in other lanes. Feel like the fundamentals they are teaching are just magnified cheese setup.

Any WoW pro or good player can pick up a new class he never played and perform well on it. Won’t be as good as his main but fundamentals and game knowledge transfer over.

This however doesn’t mean you should troll pick something like Renata top and be useless late game meanwhile the sion will scale late and take 6 towers, 2 inhibitors and end the game while being silver2 (this happened here.)
