Purchased. Regret reason #1 and #6: #1 - the video could use some horizontal stabilization when flying in wind. You get dizzy of how it gets jerked around. #6 - it is fast, but it drains FAST. 10min flying time. Ridiculous.

I have one of these. It is freaking awesome. The highest I got with it was little over 1600 feet before it said that was the limit. I went to record some mountain scenery in a canyon and just beautiful shots...yes I am an amatuer. But, there was a point where I lost image transmission and my goggles went blank...the drone itself continued to record and fly itself until I could see in the goggles again. It's quite the device lol...

Is it possible, when you've rached the max. 500 meter altitude when hovering onto something, to update the height to 0 and then hovering again 500 meters?

The thing about geofencing, I don't think it will be only for the DJI FPV

I think what people dont get is that the DJI FPV is like a prototype FPV and also its an entry drone to the FPV world

Another reason - The controller. The DJI FPV remote V2 has very small gimbals, compared to like a tango 2, or tx16s which has better control because of bigger gimbals.

Maybe a lot has changed by now, but I see people going to mountain summit with DJI FPV all the time. There was even a video where a guy went 4.5 km up through the freakin clouds. But as I said, maybe things have changed and DJI have removed these extra safety features, or maybe you just didnt set up the drone right, or flew it in Normal mode all the time?

These are 800 bucks up the street at the store. I've never had the opportunity to even see one of these flying around let alone pilot one myself. I'm thinking a out pulling the trigger on it.

I Don't Have the Skills nor Time to build a Custom FPV. .. Did not want to Go Down that Rabbit Hole. I'm Not a Pro, Nor a Racer.. Just wanted to Have Fun having FPV experience.. No Regrets Buying..

If you want video quality buy the go pro. If you want fvp buy the drone.

i have never been locked out of flying a DJI drone. even being close to helipads and airports. something was odd in your situation

After watching this video I still bought it. I think you guys are taking this the wrong way. Don't look at it on a prospective of a conventional fpv but as for someone getting into fpv who isn't technical in building their own drone.

You are looking at it from your own experience mate you are quite advance most people will not have the issue as they will only use it to a certain ability and not expect too much

Wrap the device in foil for 10min. Then try your take off again. This will unlock the geo fencing. Sometimes this resets it and the device will read its last known location that was a fly zone.

Just got it as my first drone EVER. I might get another one maybe someone thing smaller and more quiet. But I'm have an absolute BLAST. I was between this one and the Avata.

DJI care refresh does give you a piece of mind especially flying a 90mph drone.

There is a reason to not buying DJI products; that is the company links to the CCP totalitarian regime and I don't want to be a sponsor of that.

you can be as far as possible from the nearest airport but you are still in the airport approach sectors or entrance gates which won't allow you to fly.

I actually found a fly combo kit DJI kit for 400 bucks.
