ОтветитьLove the sax!
ОтветитьBeautiful song Great times in the 70's wish there was a time machine.
ОтветитьMan the 70's were so laidback and the best time to be a teenager listening to music..........
Ответитьback to this classic again...
ОтветитьVim aqui ouvir o saxofone
ОтветитьPlay it on 0.75
ОтветитьUnforgetable
ОтветитьOh my, wasn't our world so 'cruzzie' back then ? So innocent, so safe, so uncomplicated. We had bands like this, music like this. Am 77 yo now, the world now seems so .... shitful. 😢
I smoke too much, drink too much, get 'peace' when riding my Honda m/cycle. Such is life.
Back then Britain had a wow factor, enjoyed my years living in England way back in the 70's
Britain had a 'live pulse' - was great to be young, and part of it all.
We'll all bounce back, we have to. ❤ ❤
This song hurts and makes me happy at the same time. I love you dad. ❤ RIP FLUFF
ОтветитьA great song that I identify with. I was in my 20's when this song came out.
Ответить'Why don't you ask the smartest people in the Universe?... Oh yeah, you can't. They blew up'
ОтветитьWhen this first came out I heard it once and said there's a number one hit definitely. The following week it was number one in the UK charts. Brilliant G and S.
Ответить❤Winding your way down on Baker Street
Light in your head and dead on your feet
Well, another crazy day
You'll drink the night away
And forget about ev'rything
This city desert makes you feel so cold
It's got so many people, but it's got no soul
And it's taken you so long
To find out you were wrong
When you thought it held everything
You used to think that it was so easy
You used to say that it was so easy
But you're tryin', you're tryin' now
Another year and then you'd be happy
Just one more year and then you'd be happy
But you're cryin', you're cryin' now
Way down the street there's a light in his place
He opens the door, he's got that look on his face
And he asks you where you've been
You tell him who you've seen
And you talk about anything
He's got this dream about buying some land
He's gonna give up the booze and the one-night stands
And then he'll settle down
In some quiet little town
And forget about ev'rything
But you know he'll always keep movin'
You know he's never gonna stop movin'
'Cause he's rollin', he's the rolling stone
When you wake up, it's a new mornin'
The sun is shinin', it's a new mornin'
You're goin', you're goin' home
Genius. Total genius. Rest easy, Gerry ❤
ОтветитьI love, love, love this song ❤
ОтветитьOne of the greatest songs ever written
ОтветитьJust a perfect song. Musically incredible, all coming together in mind blowing synch at exactly the right moment in time. RIP Gerry, your music lives on forever.

ОтветитьAfter all these years I was trying to find this song from my childhood but had no idea what the name was, all I knew was it had a saxaphone in it, not once did I think to type 80's saxaphone song until now and whatdoyaknow......here I am listening to that saxaphone. Ahhh memories of my childhood.
Ответитьlos Santos FM 🤩
ОтветитьMy roommate in college was a huge LA Dodger fan. And when this song came on the radio he would say “hey it’s Dusty Baker Street”. Always cracked me up.
ОтветитьLove this classic ❤
ОтветитьDave Ramsey intro! Haha
ОтветитьThis just put me in a mood...it's been a while since I've heard it
ОтветитьTHATS THE NAME OF THIS SONG??
ОтветитьThe saxophone is amazing the whole song smokes 😎😎😎 All pro.
ОтветитьThis is an excellent 70's Pop song! What about the Saxophone?Just Amazing!
ОтветитьOnly song I know of where a saxophone is the “chorus”.
ОтветитьThis has to be the most famous sax in history
ОтветитьAs primarily an " 80's rocked " kid growing up I find myself drawn to the classic mid and late 70s music now . If only the music today was the same as it used to be .
ОтветитьHe looks like Nathan from South Park
ОтветитьThe guy put the SAX in saxophone
ОтветитьI love the saxophone in these kinds of songs.. sexy sounding sax!!
Ответитьone of the most influential songs of the late 70s era... I'd honored if some Gerry Rafferty fans would take a quick listen to my acoustic piano & vocal performance of BAKER STREET in tribute to this genius composition. Live acoustic with no autotune or digital editing. Peace and stay safe in the '020s.
ОтветитьV O L V O
ОтветитьПоздравляю :)
Напев вконце, это ведь Gerry Rafferty “Baker Street”, да? :)
This song is pretty much the whole reason I picked up a saxophone as a kid. 50 years later, that solo still blows me away -- quintessential 70s sax solo. May Raphael Ravenscroft rest in peace. We got this, big guy. Thanks.
ОтветитьIm so jealous of people listen to those songs at 70s 80s...
ОтветитьHey don't you ask the smartest people in the universe oh wait you cant
Ответитьbaker street best song ever FACTrip gerry god bless
