I was a very hard tackling #7 but always fair. I only played at club level and for my accounting firm KPMG. I love the game but importantly after the final whistle blew I could share a few beers with the opposition after showers etc. just a bunch of ordinary blokes enjoying the game. That’s the rugby I introduced my son to and when they started to pressure my boy too much I told him only to play if he enjoyed it. Do not play to please Dad. When he finally quit I hugged him and said you can enjoy the game in other ways. Today he is Pediatrician helping kids! Far more important than rugby.
