Pajero front diff

The rod on mine is stuck out. the actuator tries to push it in but it only moves a fraction of a millimetre. vacuum and actuator work as normal when uncoupled from rod. car operates in 4h default mode as normal but wont switch into free wheel mode.
any ideas?

How you get the cover off from that arm ? I hit it with a hamer and dosen t came off

So what happens to the right side of the shaft? Is it still engaged?

How did you remove the tube assembly? I need to replace the seals but cannot see how the tube/axle cover should be removed.

If in free wheel position. Both axle is free? Or not?

Mate was it hard to remove the front diff?
