You're gonna be a gorgeous man, with a chiseled jaw and dark lush hair, when you peak out. My generation built the machines (Intel inside!) and the first hot platform everyone was talking about (Windows 95!!), but it is YOUR generation that is teaching me, a 55 gray haired happy wife, to fly it. Thank you for your help, advice, and tips! I should have watched you first. I crashed my $400 drone that I bought a couple of weeks back during Amazon Prime Days! Crashed it right into my own parked vehicle, and none of us were even moving! I hit a button on my remote, and VROOOOOM! That drone took off in the OTHER direction at HIGH speed, and crashed and we have no idea why. It literally committed suicide not even 30 minutes out of the box it was birthed from! It hit the van with such force that it literally just died, hit the dirt, and that was that. :-( I bought another one, so now we are carefully watching and not being so damn anxious to fly this thing! We luckily could afford to replace it. And another one or two if need be, but hopefully, with your help, we'll not have to buy another replacement! Going to watch some more of your videos later tonight, together. Thank you, young man, for your very very helpful video. We appreciate it a lot!

When replacing the blades in the field, be very, very sure you don't loose the teeny tiny screws!! A fast food tray helps!

Do all or most drones save the videos on an SD card?
I look at many drone adverts typically on AliExpress but most do not mention where the videos are saved and do not mention SD cards.

I disagree with you on the 3rd question on if you need to see the Drone it disconnects it will return to you automatically within 30 seconds. But yes you do need to be in sight of the drone but it's better to use the return to home button if something does go off

Can I fly above the tower if I'm not certified. I'm asking will the software in the drone will prevent me from flying above a tower or is that I shouldn't fly above a tower unless I'm certified?

Biggest mistake is
Purchasing a DJI product. Yeah, they're good. Probably the best? But, any photo or video you take with a DJI quad/drone us sent directly to the CCP. They use your drone as a spy tool. They probably don't get much that's useful but I don't want to help em at all.

New flyer question - My drone has 500m range. What happens when it goes approx that distance? Will I lose control? Will the settings force it to turn back? Is it safe when in GPS mode, but not safe in Attitude mode?

I was once flying in some wooded mountains where my landing spot was not clear at all, and the only reason why I still have that drone today was because of the minimap on the bottom left of the screen

Hi thank you for your very informative and useful video I live in the uk and this year I am saving up so I can buy a dji Mavic pro 2 and I have only flown cheap rc helicopters and cheaper 720p camera drones I found this video very useful for myself as a novice any if you have any useful tips or any other useful information that would be great I am also going to mostly be using it in the remote countryside and sites of historical interest

Another return to home tip: if you are on a boat, disable rth all together. I live on the coast and have seen many, MANY people lose their drone when it returned to home.....but the boat moved.

I just got a DJI mini pro 3 on September 16 off of Amazon. My last software update I thought mention something about 0king them activating a remote ID on it. How can we tell if ours has the remote ID activated? By the way, I just got my part 107 certificate/license.
