ОтветитьXCD Currency 🇱🇨
ОтветитьI don't know about the other EC Islands but in Antigua there is a conversion discrepancy. People will try to trade you at 2.7 when you're converting EC to US and 2.6 when you're converting USto EC
ОтветитьYour information is incorrect. Jamaican dollars are not accepted in The Bahamas
ОтветитьI remember as a kid maybe 10 yrs old the Jamaican 🇯🇲 dollar 💵 was $80 this was the early 90s

As Essequibo and Tigri regions are not from Guyana.

ОтветитьGood video, but at least 10 minutes longer than it needed to be.

ОтветитьHi, I’m from Bahamas and I just wanted to tell you that we do not accept Jamaican dollars
ОтветитьThere are more Trinidad and Tobago dollars than Eastern Caribbean
ОтветитьCuban peso isnt 24 to 1 i am sorry mis info cuba peso 250 to 1
ОтветитьGuyanese!?? Make it make sense. Are they Caribbean or South American!!??? Shared fantasy, mass psychosis
ОтветитьAll Caricom countries should use the same currency, be able to travel visa free, etc
ОтветитьKnew about some of the currencies, but no idea of their strength, value, and rating against the Green Back. Quiet fascinating!
ОтветитьThr value of a country's currency is determined by mamy factors. The ongoing development and growth of BRICS will dranatically alter the weighting of these various parameters and bring much needed change to these ratings. So going firward we may see a more realistic rebdering of the worth of a coubtry's currency. In fact the idea of currency itself may become irrelevant as we head back to barter!😮😊😢
Ответить🇧🇸🇧🇸🇧🇸🇧🇸💪🏿
ОтветитьThe Guyanese money is terrible. You need a backpack to carry it.
ОтветитьI remember $1 US dollar to $4.25 Jamaican dollar. Now Jamaicans running around it’s useless $1000 bills.

Ответитьok calling our dollar weak is crazy
ОтветитьSuriname is the best
ОтветитьI just LOVE your video presentation! Especially all the beautifully designed colorful banknotes of all the nations which are shown. They are true works of art. I just want to collect them all as a constant reminder of how beautiful the Caribbean really is.
ОтветитьI've studied in Cuba since 2018 so unfortunately I experienced the change in the monetary value of the cuban currencies. The new exchange rate as of 2021 is 1US=120 cuban pesos. The 1US=24 cuban pesos was before 2021. Even so, 120 pesos is the bank rate and it's almost never exchanged at that rate. There is what we call the street or black market rate which is almost triple the official bank rate. Like you mentioned in the video, the topic of currency in Cuba is very complex as they also have a virtual currency pegged to the US dollar called MLC which is only available to persons who can import foreign currency from outside of the country.
Other than that, great video 👍
Guyana, Suriname, Bermuda, and Bahamas are not considered as Caribbean geographically. The Caribbean adopted Bahamas because of Britain.
ОтветитьBermuda is not in the Caribbean
ОтветитьEasy. Build a meth lab and sell to Americans.
ОтветитьThank you from the Cayman islands 🇰🇾 🙏🏽💪🏾
Ответить🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷
ОтветитьIt's about time I am a Jamaican ❤❤💯💯🌍😇🙏🫡🧐💪🫶😊.
ОтветитьOne currency for the Caribbean
ОтветитьLook at the Bahamian needing everyone to know they're Bahamian with the flag as if everything we buy isn't literally doubled the price in the US.
The Caribbean is still very well. Colonized. Nothing has changed because everyone finds comfort in oppression, also the colonizers religion has most in a brain lock. Also majority of the Caribbean is run by a two government system that are basically ruled by the west..
Big up from the Cayman Islands
ОтветитьWhy would u put islands using American or European money it should be the strongest Caribbean island money
ОтветитьAs a Belizean American from Los Angeles I was introduced to Belizean currency back in 2018 & I never knew it is double then the currency of the USA. 🇧🇿🟥🟦🟥🇧🇿.
ОтветитьSo here’s why I always criticize the methods use by this Chanel.
Haitian good vs Jamaican dollar exchange rate today Jan 5 2025 is the next.
Per every Jamaican $1 you get $ 0.84 goude.
That will make you think that the Haitian currency is stronger and of a nation better off.
But when you seek deeper you realize that even such nonsense is a clear example of Haiti madness as a nation.
0.84 Jamaican dollar buys almost twice more than 1 Haitian goude.
It’s that simple no need to look for more.
The Dominican peso for example is a little more than twice the Haitian goude but has 10 times the buying power.
Therefore the actual value of the Haitian goude is close to nothing.
The current inflation in that country is unmeasured.
