I realize that mainstream Mormons condemn this behavior but it strikes me as odd. If I was practicing a religion that was founded along with something I find morally reprehensible, I’d strongly question the entire faith and therefore my adherence to it.

Everytime I watch these I realize it was the Jeff’s or the leaders of these cults and belief systems not the religion and I never thought about until sister wives I’ve seen multiple shows and documentaries and everytime I realize it was the people leading the religion not the religion it self

I am a member of the LDS church, which is short for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, rather than for “the Church of Latter Day Saints” as Annie Elise referred to it. I felt the need to make that clear as there are still people in the world that don’t understand that we are in fact Christians. I felt that the rest of the information, though, was indeed appropriate. Thank you for at least sharing the difference between FLDS and LDS, though. Much appreciated.

One more thing… Moroni is pronounced muh-ROH-neye. I’ve got a few friends with that name within the LDS community that would appreciate the correction in pronunciation. Thanks again.
